The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that viewers are in for an emotional scene when Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) comes to check in on Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) this week.
The new B&B preview for the week of November 30 – December 4 is out, and it shows a tearful exchange between Hope and Thomas as Hope has come to the realization that Thomas needs some serious help.
In the promo, viewers see close-ups of Thomas and Hope, who are both in tears. “I know that I seem crazy,” Thomas says, crying. “How can I help you?” Hope says through tears. “I promise I’m not crazy, I’m not,” Thomas continues.
It’s a very emotional exchange in which Hope seems to understand that Thomas is dealing with something very serious and needs more help than she can offer him.
Previously, Hope thought that if Thomas spent time with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), then that would be healing and that it would help Thomas put his life back together.
But according to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Hope will witness Thomas in a delusional state, perhaps as he’s talking to the mannequin and is unable to realize that the mannequin isn’t a real person. Whatever Hope witnesses, it’s going to be major.
A tearful Hope then tells Thomas, “It’s going to be ok. We’re going to get you the help that you need.” Thomas looks truly touched and happy that Hope is expressing compassion for him rather than rejecting him outright because of his behavior.
But then something shocking happens – Thomas suddenly keels over and collapses right in front of Hope as Hope screams out his name.
Well, from there, B&B spoilers say that Hope will immediately call for help, choosing to contact John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and possibly EMTs in the process.
Chances are, Finn will meet Hope and Thomas at the hospital, where Finn will end up making a critical diagnosis for Thomas – it might be a brain injury or tumor, given Thomas’ cognitive symptoms and his collapse.
This is a powerful promo, and we should note that fans have been commenting on it in droves due to the performance by Matthew Atkinson in the clip. As one fan commented on Twitter: “Give him the Emmy.”
Someone else wrote: “On Thomas, you make me cry, but after the rain, there’s always the sun. Matthew Atkinson – a star is born.”
And someone else replied to the video by saying: “If this clip is any indication of what’s to come – I’m really impressed with @JMattAtkinson.” Finally, another fan commented: “When an actor knocks it out of the park.”
At any rate, it looks like B&B fans have a lot to look forward to this week. What do you think Thomas will be diagnosed with when it’s all said and done?
