The latest Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers preview teases that viewers are in for an emotional scene as Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) faces an intense intervention at the cliff house.
The new B&B preview for the week of September 28 is out, and it’s all about the united front that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will present to Steffy as her intervention gets underway.
As B&B viewers know, a horrible scenario unfolded last week, when Liam found Steffy unresponsive and on opioid painkillers with Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) asleep in the next room.
Steffy then got out of control and combative, and Liam took Kelly temporarily out of her care. But when Steffy went over to Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place to try to get Kelly, she verbally abused everyone there and pulled out a knife.
It was a harrowing scene, and it left no doubt in anyone’s mind that Steffy needs professional help, and she needs it now.
On The Bold and the Beautiful episode airing on Monday, September 28, Liam will fill Finn in on what happened with Steffy, and Finn will surely recognize all the signs – that Steffy is knee-deep in drug dependency territory, and that she needs more help than just talking and spending time with Kelly.
The preview shows Liam, Finn, and Ridge confronting Steffy about her drug use and her lying. “You’ve been sneaking the pills and lying about it to everyone,” Liam says calmly but firmly to Steffy.
Steffy, who looks pretty harried and desperate in the clip, fires back with; “Oh my God, you’re blowing this out of proportion!”
Ridge then pleads with Steffy, saying, “You’ve overcome so much – you can overcome this.” Liam interjects, “Are you getting that you’re playing with fire here?”
The camera then zooms in on Steffy, who looks stunned and horrified by a sudden revelation. Finn urges Steffy, saying that she can say it, and finally Steffy says, “I’m addicted.”
That’s going to be a huge turning point for Steffy, who will finally admit for Finn that she’s got a problem. One wonders what will happen from here. Perhaps Finn will have an addiction facility ready for Steffy, so she can head off to rehab right away.
Interventions typically end with the addict heading off to rehab, so chances are Steffy’s going to enter some sort of treatment program soon.
Of course, the preview just shows clips from the intervention and doesn’t reveal exactly what gets Steffy to admit that she’s addicted, but the promo certainly hints that it will be Finn who ultimately gets Steffy to say the words and take that first step.
