The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) may get their happily ever after – at least for a while! Once Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) terminal illness plot is exposed and Wyatt gets his life with Flo back on track, there may be nothing standing in the way of Flo and Wyatt’s future together.
However, is a future with Flo really what’s best for Wyatt? That’s what Wyatt wants, but maybe some Bold and the Beautiful fans know better! There are certainly plenty of B&B viewers rooting for a split here, so let’s look at four reasons why Wyatt and Flo should break up.
1) Wyatt just doesn’t sizzle with Flo
Chemistry is obviously a huge part of any pairing on a soap. Unfortunately, Wyatt doesn’t seem to have much of it in his scenes with Flo. They’ve believable enough as a couple, but there’s just no sizzle going on. B&B fans like to see hot chem, but Wyatt’s worked better with other love interests in the past. It might be best to move on from this Wyatt and Flo pairing as a result.
2) Flo and Wyatt’s invented backstory feels forced
It might’ve been different if The Bold and the Beautiful viewers watched the love between Wyatt and Flo develop, but that didn’t really happen. Instead, B&B writers delivered a high school sweetheart backstory that felt forced from the start. It seemed like a way to skip all the buildup and depth that comes with a new couple and put them right in the instant love zone. That never works!
3) Sally was thrown under the bus
Wyatt’s pairing with Sally had a lot of fan support – and there was actually chemistry going on with “Wally.” Once Flo entered this mix, Sally was cast aside and ultimately became the villain of this story. Instead of giving Sally a real chance to win Wyatt over, B&B made it so she was obsessive and crazy enough to fake a terminal illness. Sally was really thrown under the bus for Flo and Wyatt’s sake.
4) Flo helped steal Wyatt’s niece
The Bold and the Beautiful can sugarcoat it all they want, but the fact is Flo posed as the fake birth mom and helped steal Wyatt’s niece, Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez).
Wyatt cares deeply about his brother, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), as well as his exes. We can’t ignore the pain Flo caused Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) either, so Wyatt and Flo’s romance is problematic.
B&B may be ready to move on from portraying Flo as a baby stealer, but it takes time for fans to get past things like that. Wyatt’s quick forgiveness of Flo was off-putting and made it difficult to root for his relationship with her. It’s just one of the reasons a breakup might be for the best.
