The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Shauna Fulton Forrester’s (Denise Richards) marriage has an expiration date – and it’s rapidly approaching. B&B fans know Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) has been pushing for a proper wedding.
Quinn wants Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to wallow in self-pity while a sober Ridge ties the knot with Shauna once again.
However, Quinn and Shauna will be the ones in despair by the time all this over. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers point to a shocking exposure and serious Quinn karma, so the jig will soon be up.
Ridge will eventually find out Shauna texted Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the divorce papers and pushed the officiant she knew to move ahead with the Vegas wedding.
Of course, Quinn’s role as the ringleader of this scheme will come to light, so she’ll face a downfall of her own. We want to focus on Shauna for now though. Ridge is obviously going to blow his top and dump Shauna over her manipulation.
Ridge thought Shauna was a kind soul who understood him, but she’s been playing him ever since she came back to town.
What happens after Ridge announces he’s divorcing Shauna? Will Denise Richards remain on B&B after Ridge and Shauna split? It’s a tricky question to answer since Richards hasn’t confirmed her long-term plans.
Even so, we do have a few facts that can help us predict the short-term outlook and hopefully prepare for what’s down the road, too.
For starters, Richards took some time off from The Bold and the Beautiful since she had another project to complete. On August 15, Richards posted a pic on Instagram and revealed that she was on a plane to Spain. She kept fans in the loop while filming Glow and Darkness before heading home on September 8.
Richards hasn’t commented on whether she’s been back on the B&B set or if she’ll be back soon. Nevertheless, we should know more after this huge wedding blowup and the exit that’ll follow. There’ll at least have to be a temporary departure since Richards was in Spain for nearly a month.
As for what the future holds, it’s doubtful The Bold and the Beautiful will cut Shauna out of the picture entirely. It’s just a matter of whether Richards wants to be a recurring player who returns for shorter stints or perhaps a full-time cast member.
Richards has fulfilled her Glow and Darkness obligation and won’t be returning for the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If Richards wants to stay busy, she might land back at B&B and try her luck with a new love interest. The ball is most likely in Richards’ court since she’s a big name and quite a “get” for the show.
