The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will eventually try to let go of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but it won’t be an easy task. As Thomas focuses on reforming, he’ll want to turn this fake romance with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) into a real one.
After all, Zoe’s actually interested in Thomas and feels they have a connection. Thomas won’t have to work so hard to make Zoe love him. She’s already well on her way, so Thomas can just relax and enjoy this budding relationship – at least after he decides to drop his Hope obsession.
That’ll be a big step for Thomas, but will it stick? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will doubt Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) commitment to her. Although Hope will remain wary of Thomas, part of her will think Thomas’ devotion was enticing.
Thomas wanted Hope and only Hope, which could still be the case if she changes her mind and makes her desire for him known.
Thomas would probably dump Zoe despite his attempt to reform and ditch his infatuation. If Hope reciprocated his love, Thomas would view this as a chance at something healthy and meaningful between two people – two parents to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). We can’t forget about the kid and how Thomas has longed to create a family for him.
There’s still a chance this storyline’s heading in the direction of “Thope,” but what would that mean for Zoe? Chances are good Zoe will freak if Thomas goes deeper with her and then bails.
Look at what happened with Xander Avant (Adain Bradley), who accused Zoe of stalking him after their initial split. Zoe followed Xander to the U.S. and vowed to do whatever it took to get Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) out of the way.
Will B&B revisit a similar story if Hope opens her heart to Thomas – or at least shows signs of it? Let’s say a close moment happens down the road and Thomas feels the spark. It could reignite his desires and leave Zoe fearful that her rosy world will go away. That would naturally make Hope a target. Zoe could go all fatal attraction here and provide some wild drama!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say a beloved character will die in 2020, but B&B might be playing fast and loose with the term “beloved.” Zoe may not exactly be adored, but most fans do seem to like her well enough.
Could there be some situation where Zoe spirals out of control? Will Thomas or someone else kill Zoe to protect Hope? Could Zoe fall prey to her own trap for Hope instead?
It’s still early in this storyline, but it’s worth considering since we know someone indeed dies. Zoe is expendable, so she could easily be the one who faces a grim fate.
