Dre has a nightmare, gets up, and finds Nina in the living cleaning up for when Keisha comes home. Nina says the private detective is asking for five thousand dollars more, Dre is not happy about it.
Ronnie is after the sketchy looking guy who was in the crowd at Kiesha’s memorial. He follows the guy to his house, and when he leaves, he goes inside to see if he can find Keisha. He hears noises coming from the basement and heads down there to see if Keisha is there.
Kevin, Jake, and Papa are at work. Kevin gets a text from, Jake asks him if it is Jemma and starts calling her names. Kevin gets up and pushes Jake, tells him to stop.
Emmett meets Darnell in the park for advice. He says he and Tiff want to make this relationship for a month, but they haven’t had sex in a month. Darnell says it always isn’t about your needs, she is probably just getting comfortable. Darnell suggests that he talks about it. Emmett says that he already has but she won’t talk about it. Darnell says she is probably cheating, he should go through her phone.
Tiff goes to see Dante, he tries to hit on her but she shakes it off.
Ronnie knocks on Dre and Nina’s door, he says he might have information on Kiesha. When he was locked up, there was this guy, Jeremiah Dwyer, he was there on a rape charge and got out a few months ago. He saw him at the vigil the other night, looks him up on the sex offender’s list, he is staying with his father on Woodlawn. He got a feeling, there something awful about him. He has a thing for underage girls. He wants to go talk to him, but he needs Dre to go with him. He promised his grandma he would do something good with his life, he knows he is not perfect, but he wanted to help find Keisha if he can.
Emmett mentions to Darnell that Tiff wanted to go to couples therapy, Darnell says he doesn’t need to go to couples therapy to find out if your girl is cheating on you.
Dre and Ronnie head to visit Jeremiah when they mention a missing girl, he tries to run. Dre says they will call the cops if he doesn’t run. She shows him photos they found in his house of underage girls and tells him that they will call the cops. He kicks Ronnie in the groin and gets away, shouts that he deletes his browser history every day and doesn’t care.
Kevin and Nina are at an event for the academy for a fundraiser. Nina is talking to Jemma, Kevin walks up and asks Nina if they can go. Kevin is left alone with Jemma, he asks her on a date to go to the Civil Rights exhibit with him at the museum, she says ok. Meanwhile, Jake introduces Otis to Marcus, Jemma’s dad.
Papa is at church, Camille Halloway is on stage to give a speech. She says she was supposed to come on stage and talk about her plans if she got in office. But, kids are getting killed in the street and it is time to stop looking at other people to take them to the promised land, they need to lead themselves. She says her opponent Otis doesn’t care about them, he just wants a bigger office.
Over the course of the campaign, she says she is going to open her home, she wants to get to know them. She is not perfect, but neither of them. She gets an amen and everyone stands up giving her a standing ovation. Papa sees Camille give the pastor a load of money, Papa wants to know what it is for, but he tells him to stay out of grown folks business.
Ronnie is dumpster diving, he finds a meal and a sharp tool.
Tif and Emmett are at couple’s therapy. He tells Tif he wants sex twice a week. She says she has no time, she is taking care of their son. He says if he doesn’t get it from her, he gets it from someone else. She tells him to do the dishes, he turns around and tells her that she better not be sleeping with someone else. Tif tells him that she is not having sex because she doesn’t want another child. He tells her to get her tubes tied, she tells him to get a vasectomy.
Kevin is at the exhibit with Jemma, he is quiet.
Jeremiah comes back home, Ronnie and Dre are there, Ronnie hits him with a tire wrench. Jeremiah says he didn’t want to hurt her, he swears, he just wanted to spend a little time with her. He tells them that she is on the 63rd street beach. Nina gets a call from Dre, she gives her some news.
Kevin is with Jemma, he gets a call from Nina but hangs up when Jemma tells him to pay attention to her. He turns off his phone.
Nina arrives at the beach, Dre is there and so is Ronnie. Dre prepares Nina for seeing Keisha, they walk through a crime scene, police are looking at something on the ground, it is a girl, Dre asks them to turn her around so she can see the tattoo that she has on her back.
Kevin runs all the way home, he opens the door, Nina is crying and saying it wasn’t her.
Tif is home, she walks in the door and Emmett has the baby in his arms, he lit candles everywhere, has champagne on ice, strawberries; she is impressed.
Ronnie is at church praying, the pastor comes in, he says he just saw the police and they found a girl’s body at the lake but it wasn’t the girl he was looking for. Ronnie goes on to say it his destiny to find the missing girl, but it is the wrong girl. The pastor tells him to let him help him get closer to God and maybe he will hear better.
Dre and Nina and are enjoying a drink and smoke together, Dre apologizes for not telling her about Keisha’s tattoo. Nina says it is the least of her worries, at least It wasn’t their daughter, Dre says no, but she was someone else.
