Ramona reunites with Avery and Mario as a family at a favorite restaurant on the Upper East Side. The ladies attend Ramona’s birthday bash, which comes to a grinding halt when Leah shows more skin than Ramona can handle.”

It is six days to Ramona’s birthday and she is so excited to have 50 of her friends attend her party. Leah is there and Ramona tells her that is worried that Dorinda and Sonja are going to embarrass her. Meanwhile, Luann meets with the founds of Fortune Society, a place for people when they leave prison. Sonja is there too, she is there to support Luann. They all gather together in a group with some of the members and many get up, one by one, and tell their story. Luann is so touched and reduced to tears to hear about all the pain and suffering that these people experienced. Luann is called to get up and tell her story, she got arrested for being intoxicated, she got charged for three felonies and was put in handcuffs. She says she learned from it, she grew and she prays for all of them. Luann is offering to take some of the women from the center for a spa day to spoil them.
Ramona is with her daughter Avery, they are at an Italian restaurant for dinner and Mario, Ramona’s ex-husband shows up to join them. Mario starts telling the story of when Ramona’s water broke when they were out to dinner. Avery asks Ramona how many girlfriends are going to her party, she says 50. Ramona asks Mario if he is in a relationship right now, he says dating is a bitch. Avery makes a toast that they are all together, she tells her mother and father that she loves them, then Ramona smiles and tells Mario that she loves him. When Mario doesn’t respond, she tells him that he is supposed to say I love you too, he says I love you too.
Leah is at Spa88, it is one of the top three best people-watching places in the whole world, not a great place to pick up men, but its fun according to Leah. Leah reminisces about a sweet moment that she had with Ramona that makes her want to spend more time with her mom. She is with her sister who mentions that her mom said she doesn’t like Leah.
Dorinda and Leah are together, Dorina tells her that she and Luann when to Philadelphia to hear Sonja speak to students. Sonja stayed and got kicked out of a gay bar. Meanwhile, Sonja is stressed because she is trying to redo the house so she can rent it. Elyse shows up at Dorinda’s house, Leah shows her the social media post showing that Sonja was kicked out of a gay bar. Leah tells Dorinda and Elyse that Ramona told her not to wear something that she is spilling out of, at her birthday party. Leah just thinks it is absurd.
Its finally time for Ramona’s birthday party, her sister Tanya is there with her. Ramona is really excited that her family can be there. Sonja picks up Luann, Sonja says she doesn’t even want to go since she wasn’t invited the night before.
At the party, most people are wearing black like Ramona requested, but not Sonja, she is wearing blue sparkles. Leah walks in, Ramona is totally ignoring her and she is so annoyed. Leah tells the other woman that she was snubbed by Ramona. Dorinda goes over to say happy birthday to Ramona, Leah follows and says happy birthday to Ramona who tells her that she looks really sexy in her dress. Luann is worried about Sonja because she is going off the rails again with her drinking.
Dorinda tells the girls that she would like them all to go to Mexico for a week with her. Ramona takes the microphone, she tells everyone that she is so happy that everyone is there and this party is a celebration of each and every one of her guests. Same old speech every year, Sonja just wants to get back to drinking. Dorinda is worried about Sonja, she can see that something is bothering her and tries to get it out of her. Sonja is about to tell her, and Ramona walks up showing them a pure that her friends bought her.
Ramona puts it to the side and sits down with Sonja, Dorinda, and Luann. Sonja tells her that she is superficial. Leah can see the drama starting and just wishes they could leave it at home for one night, especially since it is Ramona’s birthday party. Ramona breaks up Luanna, Leah, and Dorinda, she tells them the way they are dancing, it looks like they are having sex. Ramona is embarrassed, Leah is dancing like a stripper. Leah tells her to calm down. Meanwhile, Sonja is dancing on a table, on a piece of mirror and it is breaking.
