Singer is put in a lineup, the victim can’t ID anybody. Nolan is in the cell where Singer was put and he confesses to him, not knowing it was him.
At roll call, Grey tells everyone that they are going to spend the day on foot patrol because of a suggestion that Nolan made.
Lopez and West get the first call, they get in their squad car and head to a house where they find a woman dead with blood on the side of the head, her husband is on the floor near her and says he came home to find her like this. Detective Calderan walks in and tells them she is on the case, they should canvass the neighbors.
Harper is with Nolan and sees a drug deal going down. When they head over there it is Bianca and Nolan tells her she just received her 30-day chip. Nolan puts cuffs on her, she says she was buying fentanyl and the seller’s name was Curtis.
Chen and Bradford walking the streets when a man tries to steal from girl guides when he sees them he runs and ends up on the street, care hits him and he goes right through the windshield. One of the girl guides helps Chen and asks her if she is getting a badge for it.
Nolan and Harper tell Grey about their lead for the fentanyl, but before they can do anything, the DEA steps in, they have already been working on this lead. They want to use Bianca to catch the people responsible.
Detective Calderan is leaving the house when Lopez and West tell her that the neighbors said there was a suspicious car driving around the neighborhood. Calderon won’t listen to them, she says there have been a lot of domestic violence calls to the house, the wife took a lot of cash out of her bank that morning, her guess is the husband did it and they are not the detectives.
Nolan tells Mike from the DEA that Bianca is not in a good state of mind to do what they wanted from her. She is upset, he tells her that he is her handler, not her friend. He takes her out of the room and tells her to get out of her head that he has feelings for her.
Harper calls Nolan back, she tells him that she is going in as Crystal and he is going with her. Harper goes in, she puts herself in a dangerous situation, she goes in saying she has a heavy hitter buyer who is eager to buy all the fentanyl that they have got, the guy passes. She offers for him to meet her old man in the back to prove to him that she is telling the truth. Nolan drives up, they make a deal. Nolan shows the guy a bag of cash.
Lopez gives Calderan a file, there were a lot of people who made huge withdrawals and got robbed the next day. It turns out, it wasn’t the husband who killed her. Calderan brings in a bank teller who did all the transactions, she gets Lopez to interrogate him and she gets a confession, he didn’t mean to kill her.
Bianca goes to her seller and gives up the cops, he gets mad and grabs her. Nolan, Harper, and Mike go in. Lots of shots are fire, Harper calls for backup. Mike gets shot, Harper shoots the guy who shoots Mike. Meanwhile, a decoy vehicle headed out before the shooting, Bianca is in there with one of the guys.
Chen and Bradford go in pursuit but are hit by another vehicle. Meanwhile, Nolan is able to track one of the burner phones in the building and find Bianca just before they are going to shoot her. Nolan arrests Bianca, she says it is not her fault, she was hurt and lost her mind.
Calderan asks Lopez if she ever thought of becoming a detective, she could fast track things for her. Mike offers Harper a job, she says no, but tells him she wouldn’t say no to dinner. Bianca cries as she is brought to prison, Nolan watches on. Grey tells him that he is going to buy him a beer.
