The Young and the Restless spoilers document that two seemingly solid love matches may not persist much longer. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) continues to endure personal pain due to her diagnosis, but has been able to count on Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) support. This couple was solid when viewers last saw both characters in mid April.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) suffered the tragic loss of his wife and unborn child. More recently he’s recovered his inheritance and seemed to be on a path toward marriage with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). This couple was also solid when they were last seen in the early spring.
However, Y&R can write both couples to dramatic breakups when new episodes are produced following the nearing end of the production shutdown.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey Rosales Believes Sharon Newman Doesn’t Love Him
Is Rey the new love of Sharon’s life? It seemed so, but maybe not.
The writing staff spent an extensive amount of time setting up Shey. Rey was initially married to Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez), which caused Vilasuso’s character and Case’s to restrain themselves. That period led to their later embrace.
Shey hasn’t existed for long and therefore isn’t cemented. While Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t seen as a threat by Rey and has actually become his friend again, Y&R can quickly create a scenario where the intentions of Morrow’s character are questioned.
Tension between both guys has flared in the past. Pair that with Nick’s latest shaky reconnection to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Rey’s perception of Shick’s closeness could create the hinted break.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Isn’t The Issue
Of course Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) appearance rattled Devon. But it also shook Elena.
So, let’s digitally skip to where Delena, or Elevon if one prefers, as both nicknames are sharp, is now. Assuming that there isn’t a significant time jump, Devon will be focused on Elena and his business interests when viewers next see them. Elena will be focused on Devon and her profession.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is sincerely interested in Amanda, but she has a crush on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Amanda has just started dating Nate, but appears likely to break his heart. If that happens, he’ll seek advice from his friend, Elena, who he volunteers with at the New Hope clinic.
It’s not far-fetched to project a storyline twist, with Elena becoming involved with Nate, rather than Devon and Amanda pairing. And with Elena’s choice her relationship with Devon could end.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Love Can Be Complicated
Love isn’t logic. That’s an overly simplistic statement to make, but also a fair one.
Sharon and Rey and Devon and Elena aren’t couples that sport deep histories. Both duos are newer and could be ripe for change, as fueled by unexpected decisions that were referenced.
