The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will play the blame game following Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) next medical crisis. After Chelsea collapses at the penthouse again, things will be far worse this time around.
Young and Restless spoilers tell us it looks like Chelsea’s brain aneurysm will burst before she has a chance to get the surgery she needs.
Y&R fans can expect Chelsea to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, but more drama will follow. This New Year’s Eve drama will carry over into the week of January 4-8. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will survive and wake up, but she won’t be quite the same woman she was before.
There’ll be complications due to this ruptured brain aneurysm that force major changes. The aftereffects will take a toll on Chelsea, who’ll have a tough time adjusting to her new normal according to Y&R spoilers. Chelsea will experience brain damage that results in partial paralysis or something along those lines.
Part of Adam blames himself for causing Chelsea’s fall in that elevator. Adam had the power cut off at Chancellor Communications, which led to Chelsea falling while trying to find a way out. That fall brought the start of Chelsea’s symptoms, so Adam has certainly been wrestling with guilt.
However, that guilt will become too much to bear once Adam sees how much Chelsea’s struggling. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will blame Billy next. It won’t be long until Adam corners Billy and holds him responsible for Chelsea’s terrible condition.
Adam may argue that he wouldn’t have had to cut off the power and go digging for evidence if Billy hadn’t been plotting against him. Y&R fans can expect Adam to go off on Billy in a big way. There’s a good chance Adam will vow revenge, which could cause another round of the vicious cycle he tends to get stuck in with Billy.
That could definitely prove concerning to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who might worry about Billy’s dark side creeping back up! Whatever the case, Adam will spark another showdown in the aftermath of Chelsea’s burst brain aneurysm ordeal. We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
