The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) will return home following a wonderful honeymoon.
Things got off to a bumpy start since Chance and Abby’s cabana wasn’t everything they hoped it would be, but they made the best of it. In some ways, it was perfect since it reminded Abby and Chance that all they really need is each other’s love.
However, this is a soap and that means drama is just around the corner. Sooner or later, all newlywed bliss bubbles have to burst. Chance and Abby probably just didn’t expect theirs to burst so soon! It looks like conflict will erupt almost immediately after they return home.
Y&R spoilers say Abby and Chance will face off during the week of December 7-11 – and there’ll most likely be a familiar source of contention. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could easily be why this showdown happens.
Abby has never been shy about voicing her disapproval of Chance and Adam’s friendship. It was something Abby had to put up with for a while, but Chance ultimately vowed to concentrate on Abby and their soon-to-be family.
The shooting really put things into perspective and made Chance realize he needed to keep his distance from dangerous Adam
Unfortunately, Adam can be a bit of a vortex and tends to suck people into his blackhole of doom. Once Chance comes home and gets updates on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) arrest, he may decide that doesn’t sit right with him.
Chance could easily do some digging into who really shot him and who might’ve set up Billy.
Abby would much rather see Chance stay as far from this case as humanly possible. Since Chance would probably be doing it off the record, that could be even more concerning to his new wife. Abby might feel like Chance is taking unnecessary risks and blame Adam since he’s at the center of the case.
If Chance digs too deep and learns the truth, what’s to stop someone from taking another shot at him? Abby might argue that the first bullet was a mistake, but the second one might be intentional and fatal.
It’s easy to imagine Abby flipping out in a big way, so this makes perfect sense as the first big blowup in Abby and Chance’s marriage.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest the honeymoon will be over faster than you can say Adam Newman. Chance’s loyalty will be put to the test since he’ll want to acknowledge Abby’s feelings, but he’ll also want the real story.
