The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) childhood defense of his mother and assistance that he offered to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) in the recent past created a dual dilemma when viewers last saw him in April. With new episodes soon expected to be recorded, fans are wondering if Adam will need to go on the lam when he’s seen again later this summer?
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has protected his second-born son since the childhood incident happened. That’s when Adam felt the need to defend his mother, by allegedly killing A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name is known for this role). Though Adam seems to have fully blocked out that incident.
It’s reasonable to speculate that Victor already knows, or will learn, about Adam’s claimed act of self-defense in the recent past when he killed a man who was a threat to Chance in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Victor implored Adam not to push the narrative that Braeden’s character was guilty of killing A.J. and then covered it up. But Adam felt Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) investigation produced evidence that nailed Victor.
However, it appears as though the payoff Victor gave to a Kansas coroner wasn’t made to protect himself. Instead, the detail Victor provided appears to implicate Adam as the person who felt A.J. had to be stopped.
If Adam persists in pushing Victor’s guilt, his father may need to issue an ultimatum.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers’ Has Devastating Intel
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) believes she’s lost the last piece of digital evidence that contained Adam’s verbal admission of guilt. As fans recall, Adam openly admitted that he killed the man in question in Vegas because he was lunging at him.
Adam’s conversation with Chance was secretly recorded by Phyllis. But Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) subsequently damaged her laptop and then stole and destroyed the memory stick that contained a backup copy of Adam’s admission.
Yet, Phyllis can still tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) what she knows. He can pass that information onto Victor, who always seems to be able to leverage a situation to its maximum advantage.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Given A Choice
Assuming Victor has, or will gain the advantage over Adam, there’s no doubt this father-son battle will erupt. Victor’s warning to back off the Kansas secret could be followed by a pressured choice.
Fearing that his father will turn him over to the authorities, Adam could choose to flee Genoa City, Wisconsin, then to follow his father’s latest directive. An unplanned adventure with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) would then be in order.
