The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will put a risky plan in motion. Billy and Lily will determine that this secret witness could be the key to cracking the case.
If someone saw Billy at the scene of the crime, that person might’ve seen something else, too – at least that’s what Billy will suspect. Lily will realize the secret witness could potentially point them in the direction of the person who set Billy up.
Once Billy and Lily reach that conclusion, they’ll do some brainstorming to corner this secret witness. Since Lily will find out the witness is staying at the Grand Phoenix, she’ll snoop through the hotel while Billy waits in the lobby.
Lily will hope she can figure out this mysterious person’s identity and hopefully move forward with a grilling session.
After Lily reconvenes with Billy, he’ll be in the middle of a meeting with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Lily won’t think it’s wise to involve Amanda in any of this, so she’ll push to talk to Billy in private.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will be suspicious, but she might decide this is personal rather than something connected to Billy’s case.
Once Amanda exits, that’ll give Lily a chance to drop quite a bomb on Billy. It turns out the secret witness is none other than Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico)!
Y&R fans know Alyssa was Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) childhood friend, but she ultimately turned against him after learning the story of how Adam killed her father, AJ Montalvo.
Alyssa became Billy’s ally through her involvement in the “Making of a Monster” exposé, but it turns out she’s turned against Billy as well. The question is: Why? Perhaps there’s someone else involved here that Alyssa is scared of.
It’s worth mentioning that Alyssa was downright terrified after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) threatened her. It’s possible Victor’s threatening Alyssa once again – this time to make sure Billy goes down for attempted murder.
On the other hand, there may be some other reason Alyssa has to go against Billy this time around.
Regardless, Alyssa can place Billy at the crime scene and that’ll prove troubling to Billy. He’ll want some answers, so look for Billy to get riled up and ready for a confrontation! We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and updates emerge.
