The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) is celebrating a milestone birthday. The longtime Y&R actor was born on July 27, 2007, making her thirteen years old.
Lind recently used her Instagram account in anticipation of the celebration. She posted two photos at an oceanfront lighthouse hotel in Avila Beach, California. Aside of the images she said, “Berry good start to my birthday week!! (pun intended) @avilalighthouse best social distance beach house!”

Longtime fans of the show would likely agree that Lind ranks with the best child actors of her era. She’s been part of the cast since 2011, which has allowed the audience to watch her grown up in daytime.
Lind gained fame beyond the soap world in 2015, when she played the childhood version of Dolly Parton in the broadcast network movie Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors. She also played the same role in the 2016 movie Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.
This actor has earned six entertainment awards during her career which began with Y&R being her initial credit. Three of her six awards were earned for her role in Parton’s 2015 movie. Lind was also a 2017 Daytime Emmy Award nominee in the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series category.

As viewers have seen through recent classic episodes, Faith’s home life has been chaotic. A handful of years ago she decided that living with Niktor was a better option than splitting time with her mom and dad, whose pattern of fighting was well known.
More recently Faith chose not to return to boarding school so that she could support Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), who was dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. Faith’s mature decision was embraced by her mother and everyone else.

Sharon is expected to beat cancer. With that Faith might be primed to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin, once again.
Lind’s career has boomed within recent years. So it’s unknown if she would be able, or willing to remain on the show if offered the opportunity to take center stage in a standout storyline that would center upon her character.
Faith’s sister, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), is played by Y&R’s arguable greatest child actor. Of course Grimes has proven to be a stellar adult performer as well.
Devoted fans surely know that Lind’s continued presence on the show, with however long that lasts, will result in additional terrific work. Here’s hoping Y&R writes more for Faith and that Lind chooses to be a regular, or even a recurring part of the cast.
