The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has developed another meaningful relationship. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) came along at the right moment in his life. She, more than anyone else, helped him to deal with the grief of losing Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and Hevon’s unborn child.
Elena was also there for Devon, along with others, when Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) passed unexpectedly last year. And so it seemed that Y&R’s pairing of James and Sarpy projected a couple that would endure.
But as fans have seen, Amanda Sinclair’s (Morgan’s newest role) arrival in Genoa City, Wisconsin, indicated a future shift was coming. Her identical appearance to Hilary was exploited by Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), but has yet to be seriously pursued by the lady in question.

Is it possible that Amanda is Rose Turner’s (Leslie Stevens, in a retrospective role) unknown twin daughter? Of course that’s an option.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) recently suggested to Amanda that she pursue her backstory. His romantic interest in her has recently been reciprocated, which could be a diversionary plot tactic, or a means to an end, with however one chooses to view it.

Elena knows that Amanda’s resemblance to Hilary, assuming that there is no relation, impacts Devon’s psyche. How could it not?
The exposure of Amanda’s rough past with Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) served as a restarting point. Devon and Elena apologized to Amanda for treating her harshly upon her arrival in GC.
Their initial reactions were understandable, considering her resemblance to Hilary and legal pursuit of Devon’s inheritance through his grandmother, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper).
The clear implication is that it would be best to pair off Amanda with Nate, or anyone, rather than have her remain free. The oddness of Amanda’s mirror-image look makes her an ongoing, if latent threat. So, Namanda is naturally a duo that Elena supports.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Digital Search Initiates Compelling Storyline
A pure digital search that provides some easy yes, or no answer could play out in one episode, or even two scenes. Surely that’s not how Y&R will proceed, but it would be a logical starting point.
The growth of Namanda will allow for plenty of personal sharing to take place between Nate and Amanda. That alone can spark a genetic pursuit.
Of course, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) remains interested in Amanda as well. He’s likely to join the search as soon as it begins since Amanda has agreed to work as Chancellor Industries legal counsel.
