The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) past will continue to unravel. Y&R fans know a few significant pieces of the puzzle, but there are many more to come. Now that this situation with Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) has been resolved, it’s time to dig deeper into Amanda’s background and reveal more about who she really is.
During the week of March 16-20, The Young and the Restless will kick off the next phase of Amanda story. It’ll start when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) starts asking questions that make Amanda uncomfortable.
Part of that may be because old habits are tough to break. Due to Ripley, Amanda’s battled serious trust issues. It’s hard for Amanda to open up, even to a guy as sweet and dependable as Nate.
However, there could be some other reasons why Amanda’s cagey. What else could she be hiding? The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will wonder about Amanda’s time in the foster care system. It looks like she’ll be OK with that portion of the discussion.
Amanda will talk about facing some struggles, but she’ll think she had pretty good luck all things considered. She’ll suggest that some kids had it far worse. Nate will eventually ask about Amanda’s biological family, which is when things will take an awkward turn. Amanda will be taken aback when Nate wonders why she never really looked into her bio parents or siblings.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will claim she wanted the past to stay buried. She’ll argue that she never went looking for her biological family because she made a life for herself. Amanda’s the type of person who forges her own path and never looks back – at least not if she can help it.
Based on Amanda’s uncomfortable reaction, she may have a few secrets she’s not divulging. Even so, it’s doubtful Amanda knows the biggest shocker that’s presumably in store for her.
Now that The Young and the Restless is building to some news about Amanda’s family, the logical thing to do would be to make her Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) long-lost twin.
Whether that was the plan in the beginning or not, Y&R seems to be moving forward with these story updates. Will Amanda look into her biological family after all? Will someone else snoop for her? Either way, The Young and the Restless spoilers say a major sister bomb could drop!
