The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are looking forward to the bright future ahead. They’re done wasting time and just want to focus on each other. However, Y&R will have to deliver a little drama sooner or later. Kyle and Summer can’t stay on cloud nine forever, so what kind of trouble will come along?
If The Young and the Restless writers stick with their typical pattern, another love interest will likely be the problem. That seems to be the main obstacle they deliver when it comes to the pairings in their younger bracket. Of course, they may choose to use someone familiar to shake things up. It’d be the easiest way to go under the circumstances.
Summer and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) had a casual romance, but there was certainly plenty of fire. These two had no shortage of sparks in the bedroom, so “Seo” passion could erupt again. Unless The Young and the Restless wants to cast another interloper, they may have no choice but to make Theo cause “Skyle” issues.
It wouldn’t be unreasonable since there’s always been an intense rivalry between Kyle and Theo. Even when they were friends, there was always a competitive nature to their relationship. Summer also pointed out that Theo wanted Kyle’s whole life – as evidenced by how he plotted to take over at Jabot and coveted Kyle’s wife.
It some ways, it seemed like Theo developed feelings for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) because she was Kyle’s love interest. What happens now that Kyle’s back with Summer?
Lola’s got a lot going on with her restaurant and doesn’t seem ready to make a big commitment. If Theo, Summer and Kyle are left as the key players here, that sure looks like a bad sign!
Kyle and Theo can never seem to keep the peace for very long. If their war starts up again as usual, Theo may attack Kyle from a different angle. After all, there’s a history between Summer and Theo – one that’s sizzling in the bedroom.
It wouldn’t be hard for Theo to tempt Summer under the right circumstances. A fight with Kyle…a cozy hotel suite…some familiar “Seo” sparks… It’s easy to picture it since cheating and betrayals are about all Y&R writers know to do with the younger set.
That doesn’t mean Summer would surrender to temptation, but Theo might bring some anyway! If Theo wants to hurt Kyle down the road, plotting to blow up “Skyle” would be the way to do it. Are Summer and Theo really over for good? Could Theo still pose a threat to Summer and Kyle’s romance?
