The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) is headed back to Genoa City for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) wedding.
As Rey prepares for the big event, he’ll admit to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) that he’s looking forward to his brother joining in the fun.
However, Rey will be a little worried about familiar conflict erupting. It’s no secret that Rey often clashed with Arturo in the past, so there’ll be some concerns in the back of his mind.
Rey will point out that Arturo has a way of yanking his chain, but Lola will argue that Rey shouldn’t let him. She’ll be confident that the brothers can keep the peace for the New Year’s Eve nuptials.
Since there’s really no reason for Rey and Arturo to fight right now, we’d say Lola will be right. Nevertheless, there’s someone else in Genoa City who might face Arturo’s fury!
In the December 21 episode of The Young and the Restless, Lola will point out that she could always distract Arturo with talk of her own wedding. You can bet Arturo is hopping mad over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) bailing on his wife.
Y&R fans know it was a complicated situation since Kyle admitted he’d always loved Summer Newman (Hunter King). Kyle finally accepted that he’d been living in denial, but he still cares about Lola and wants her to be happy.
Lola and Kyle reached an agreement about their divorce, but the whole thing was brutal for Lola. Although Lola has moved on with her life, Arturo hasn’t had a chance to let Kyle have it for hurting his little sister.
Could Arturo squeeze in a confrontation with Kyle while he’s in town?
The last time Arturo was in GC, it was for Kyle and Lola’s nuptials. That brought a brief faceoff with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), who was dating Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) back then.
It just goes to show that a Young and the Restless wedding visit doesn’t have to be all about the bride and groom.
It’s easy to imagine Arturo crossing paths with Kyle – perhaps at The Grand Phoenix since Arturo will probably be staying there. This would be the ideal opportunity for Arturo to blast Kyle over the “Kola” divorce and maybe even throw a punch.
Kyle’s New Year’s Eve could take a violent turn if he finds himself facing Lola’s vengeful brother!
