The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) may have some good reasons to bond with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) again when new Y&R episodes start back up.
Y&R fans know that after Amanda shared a kiss with Billy, she ultimately decided they should stick to friendship. However, that hasn’t stopped Billy and Amanda from exchanging intense looks!
Even when Amanda and Billy are across the room, they can’t resist stealing glances at each other. It seems like The Young and the Restless has left the door open for something more to happen between Billy and Amanda – especially now that Amanda’s joined the team at Chancellor Communications.
Amanda and Billy may have more opportunities to grow closer once new episodes start airing.
Back when Amanda was trying to work through her abuse issues and Billy was trying to find a new path, it gave these two a project to tackle in a way. Both Amanda and Billy were searching for a sense of freedom – and they helped each other find it.
If Y&R wants a new strategy to pull Billy and Amanda closer, perhaps they could offer a new project to bring them together.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has asked Amanda about her biological family, but she’s not keen on digging into her roots. Amanda’s all about the present and future, so looking back just isn’t her thing.
That’s reasonable considering all the trauma Amanda’s had to endure, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be satisfied with her unanswered questions.
Nate’s a nice guy, but he doesn’t have the same type of connection with Amanda – not so far anyway. Amanda has a deeper connection with Billy, and they’re able to be honest with each other.
It’s easy to imagine Amanda being able to open up to Billy more than with Nate. Maybe Billy will realize Amanda really does want to know more about her biological family deep down.
Although Billy’s managed to settle down lately, there’s one thing about him that’s probably never going to change. Billy is the kind of person who craves excitement. He’d undoubtedly love to take on a big mystery like this involving Amanda’s history.
If the clues start pointing in the direction of Amanda being Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin sister, maybe Billy could help Amanda crack the case!
