The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Miller (ex-Billy Abbott on Y&R, ex-Drew Cain on General Hospital) recently shared some kind words about Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor). Y&R chose to kick off their theme week episodes with “Katherine the Great” week – and fans loved all the memorable moments!
Cooper was a force to be reckoned with, and Katherine will forever be remembered as a crucial part of Genoa City. Miller couldn’t agree more, so he filmed a special message to share just how much Cooper meant to him. He also offered some encouragement to everyone during the COVID-19 aka coronavirus crisis, so let’s look at what Miller had to say.
“Hello from quarantine!” Miller said in his greeting. “I hope everybody is safe and healthy and finding a way to navigate through this trying time as best as humanly possible.”
Miller commented on his new look, which include a “standard-issue quarantine beard” as well as his “crazy mop.” Many soap stars are sporting similar looks in quarantine, so no surprise there! Miller still looks great as usual.
Next, Miller reflected on the impact Cooper had on his life. He had some sweet comments as he joined viewers in celebrating this amazing actress and incredible lady. “I hear that we are celebrating the great Jeanne Cooper,” Miller said. “One of my most favorite people to have ever walked the face of the earth. I love this woman. I miss her dearly.”
Miller showed off a picture that he keeps in his office and used to keep in his dressing room. It was a photo of Miller with Cooper at the Daytime Emmys ceremony in Vegas. Miller made sure to point out that “Jeanne Cooper was a lot of fun in Vegas” – and we have no doubt that she was!
Cooper used to check on Miller all the time and would even call him at home out of the blue. “She took a real interest in me and my career from the very beginning at Y&R…and made sure that I was finding my way through this crazy business in the best possible way,” Miller insisted. He had nothing but good things to say about The Young and the Restless’ matriarch, who adored all her fans and costars.
It’s clear that Cooper will always hold a special place in Miller’s heart. “I miss her. I love her. I say we continue to celebrate her, and I’m glad you guys are,” Miller said. “Again, stay safe and keep watching!”
The Young and the Restless and General Hospital fans undoubtedly enjoyed a chance to see Miller again in this video, especially since he was praising the great Jeanne Cooper!
