The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that “Chance” Chancellor (Donny Boaz) could uncover some shocking clues. Y&R fans know Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) recently gave “Chance” a call about keeping an eye on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Devon still doesn’t trust Amanda, but he’s hopeful that Chance can do some spying and give him all the info he needs.
Since it looks like Chance will indeed watch Amanda closely, what will he learn? Chance could figure out that Amanda’s restraining order against her ex-fiancé, Ripley Turner, was very warranted.
Ripley filed one against Amanda as well, but that was probably just for show. He sounds like a monster based on the hints Amanda’s given so far.
However, there’s a deeper mystery below the surface here. So little is known about Amanda’s background. Chance could be motivated to dig around and figure out who this woman really is. She’s more than a case file and an abuse story.
Amanda has mentioned that she was an orphan, which is a tell-tale sign that her parents will be important. Y&R has the perfect setup for Amanda to establish a connection to someone from Genoa City. Most new characters get that kind of connection eventually – at least if they’re going to stick around.
Now that Chance will be snooping a bit, it presents the opportunity for him to follow the trail. It’d be a good storyline for Chance, who’ll need to do more than just date Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and deal with Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) pestering. Chance has a shot at helping Devon see Amanda in a whole new light.
Will the clues pile up and lead Chance to a shocking conclusion? Will he discover that Amanda is Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) long-lost twin sister? That seems like a reasonable story route to take.
Devon is fixated on Amanda, but maybe it’s about more than just her familiar face. Perhaps on some subconscious level, Devon can sense that twin bond without even knowing it. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance could be the key to dropping a major Amanda-Hilary bomb!
