The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be excited about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) release from his mental health facility.
Chelsea will hope this means they can get their future back on track – starting with a trip to see Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) at his boarding school.
However, Chelsea has been battling some persistent headaches and fatigue. Y&R fans know Chelsea also collapsed at Crimson Lights not too long ago, so she’s been ignoring some troubling symptoms. Since there’s been so much Adam drama going on, Chelsea hasn’t been paying much attention to her own health.
Adam won’t like the idea of Chelsea doing a lot of traveling until they get to the bottom of things. He’ll worry about Chelsea’s excessive migraines and may worry this is related to Chelsea’s fall in the elevator at Chancellor Communications.
Chelsea will downplay her condition and view it as something minor that’ll clear up on his own. She’ll think she can beat these pesky headaches by lowering her stress level, so she’ll be eager to spend some quality family time with Adam and Connor. That’ll be the best medicine as far as Chelsea’s concerned.
Even so, Adam will insist on getting the green light from Chelsea’s doctor. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will eventually lie to Adam about the doctor’s updates. She’ll claim she heard back and learned it was just a mild blood pressure problem.
Chelsea will assure Adam that she just has to lower her salt intake and everything will be fine. Nevertheless, Chelsea’s lie will be exposed after the doctor calls while she’s out of the room. Adam will answer Chelsea’s phone and find out her condition is actually quite serious.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea and Adam will ultimately have to face a major challenge together. Chelsea is facing a terrible health battle, so something like a brain tumor seems likely under the circumstances.
Since Chelsea’s been dealing with headaches and has lost consciousness, that kind of diagnosis would make sense.
Y&R fans can expect some tough times for “Chadam,” but Adam will do his best to help Chelsea through the crisis ahead. As other news comes in, we’ll keep you posted.
