The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will undertake an intriguing mission. During the week of August 24-28, Chelsea will head back to Kansas. It sounds like Chelsea will want to visit Hope Wilson’s (last played by Beth Toussaint) farm again and see what else she can find out.
Chelsea’s been terrified about what’ll happen if Adam remembers this piece of his past. Adam’s brain blocked out what happened that fateful night for a reason!
Killing AJ Montalvo was far too traumatic for a young boy to deal with. However, the trauma could still be pretty rough for Adam as an adult – especially since he’s unsure about the deadly details.
Adam has pointed out that he can’t trust Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) version of events. Since Victor has been protecting Adam for years, how can Adam know his father’s not doing that now?
Victor claims Adam was merely protecting Hope, but Adam fears it may have been murder. There have definitely been hints that Adam might’ve wanted to kill AJ – or at least do serious bodily harm.
Despite Chelsea’s reservations, she’ll try to support Adam through the risky journey he’s headed on. Adam will undergo therapy sessions with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to see if he can summon what happened back to the surface.
Nevertheless, it seems Chelsea won’t be willing to stand around and do nothing. Chelsea may believe there are more answers waiting for her in Kansas – answers that could give her a better idea of what Adam will remember.
In the week ahead, August 24-28, Chelsea will make a stunning discovery. Her trip will take a startling turn as she finds out some new info.
Based on all the Y&R preview info, all signs point to Adam’s guilt. It doesn’t seem likely Chelsea will uncover anything that might point to Victor lying.
This probably won’t be a discovery that paints Adam in a positive light. In fact, Chelsea might find evidence that Adam was indeed a child who battled a dark side early on.
There might be a surprise witness of what happened to AJ – or perhaps there could be proof of yet another incident Adam’s blocked out. If Adam repressed this horrible AJ memory, what else has he forgotten?
Regardless, Chelsea will do some digging and probably won’t like what she finds! We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news comes in.
