The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will reel after some news that rocks her to the core. It certainly sounds like Amanda and Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) DNA will be a match, which makes them identical twin sisters.
As Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) pointed out to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), this is going to change things whether any of them like it or not.
Nate doesn’t have the same view of the situation and thinks Elena’s spinning out for no reason. There’s a good chance Nate will be wrong about that! Amanda and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) are bound to grow closer once they have confirmation on this twin shocker.
Elena’s probably going to start spinning out even more – no matter how innocent Devon and Amanda’s connection may seem at first.
Of course, The Young and the Restless viewers know Devon is completely devoted to Elena – at least at this point in the story. Elena may be her own worst enemy with all these doubts and insecurities. Devon could be driven away and pushed in Amanda’s direction if Elena isn’t careful!
However, knowing Devon as well as we do, he’s sure to be pretty patient with Elena early on. In fact, Devon might even make a bold move to show Elena he’s all in on their future together. Will Devon propose and prove Elena’s the only one he wants to spend the rest of his life with?
Y&R fans will recall that Devon set up a deathbed wedding so he could become Hilary’s husband in her final moments. The title of wife is special to Devon, so it’ll mean a lot if he asks Elena to become his new one. Devon may feel like this could help put Elena’s fears about Amanda to rest.
Naturally, Amanda will also hold a special place in Devon’s heart due to this Hilary connection. Even so, it’s not like Devon ordered up a replacement twin bride or something! It’s Elena who Devon’s madly in love with and wants by his side, so he may hope a proposal will serve as enough evidence of that.
Will Devon pop the question and try to ease Elena’s mind? Elena might happily become Devon’s fiancée, but that doesn’t mean her doubts are going to disappear. Whether Devon puts a ring on it or not, Elena’s concerns may just keep growing! We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R updates come in.
