The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) luck will finally turn around. Y&R fans know Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) recently delivered some updates to Devon regarding his missing money. A new lead didn’t quite pan out, but it gave Chance confidence that the noose was tightening. He felt sure they’d be able to catch up with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) before long.
There’s been no talk of Colin appearances anytime soon, but The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will indeed get good news. During the week of February 23-28, Devon will FINALLY get his fortune back! That’s great to hear since many viewers have been frustrated with this story from day one.
It made zero sense for Devon to just hand over all his money to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) without truly looking into this. The proof was flimsy at best considering who Cane’s father is.
This had Colin written all over it from the get-go. It was even more frustrating when Colin took off with Devon’s fortune and Cane left to track it down. The storyline was left dangling for months.
Thankfully, Devon’s about to get answers about that missing money, which will be transferred back to his account. Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) wishes will be carried out once again, so that’s something both Devon and Y&R fans can appreciate. It would’ve been disrespectful to Katherine’s memory if the writers hadn’t made things right.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will be able to breathe a huge sigh of relief. This wasn’t really about the money anymore, but it’ll still feel good to get it back.
Devon had big plans for charity work, so he’ll be able to achieve all his goals now. This money will come in handy as Devon helps Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) with everything the new clinic needs.
Of course, this also presents an opportunity to tie up some loose ends involving Cane. Devon has battled suspicions about Cane’s guilt, but maybe he’s just letting the past cloud his judgment.
Will Devon ultimately realize Cane is innocent? Will this fortune discovery somehow help to prove Cane was honest? It’d be nice to settle that once and for all, so let’s hope there’ll be some Cane clarification.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will have his money at last – and that’s something we can all be grateful for!
