The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that another round of battle’s ahead for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). If you thought these cousins would get along now that Kyle’s moved on from Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), think again. Y&R will find something different for Kyle and Theo to fight about down the road – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t going to like it!
Y&R fans know Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) is rapidly declining, so that’s been a tough blow for the Abbott clan so far. Jack’s trying to make peace with the fact that Dina’s death is drawing near. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was even summoned as the family prepares to tackle this challenge together.
Unfortunately, Theo’s going to make a few waves. As Dina’s grandson, it’s reasonable that Theo would want to meet with Dina again and say his goodbyes. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news say whatever Theo does won’t go over well with Kyle. There’s a possibility that Dina will become upset since she gets confused so easily.
Of course, we also know that Theo likes to do things big and bold. It’s easy to imagine Theo coming up with some gesture he views as amazing – one last parting gift to Dina as the end approaches.
Theo’s heart might be in the right place, but this move could also be a little manipulative – at least Kyle will think so! He’ll believe Theo’s just trying to score brownie points with Lola and perhaps Jack.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will land in a situation where he feels he must step up for Dina’s sake. He’ll believe he’s protecting his grandmother, and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will absolutely take his side.
Jack, on the other hand, will completely disagree. He’ll feel almost betrayed due to the drama that goes down, so that could put Kyle’s co-CEO spot at risk.
Naturally, this could be something that’ll pull Lola closer to Theo. She’s bound to feel like Kyle’s being outrageous, especially since Theo’s perfected his victim act! This could be the kind of thing that convinces Lola to move full-speed ahead with Theo, so we’ll see how it goes.
