The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Does Adam Deserve to Be in Christian’s Life – Bond with Son After Conquering Inner Demons?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have to find a way forward after all this AJ Montalvo trauma. Adam hasn’t accepted that he’s responsible yet, but that has to be coming sooner or later. Although Adam was only protecting his mom, Hope Wilson (last played by Beth Toussaint), he’ll have to wrap his head around killing AJ and showing dark tendencies at a young age.

Fortunately, Adam will have Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to lean on. Although Adam might try to push them away, we have faith in Chelsea to fight for her man and her son’s father. Chelsea won’t let Adam forget just how much he means to them!

Of course, the fact that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) protected Adam all these years could play a crucial part in the story. Victor was just trying his best to be a good father. It could serve as a form of connection for Adam and Victor once Y&R’s back with new episodes.

Perhaps it could also show Adam just how important it is to be there for his sons – and that includes Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Obviously, we’ve already been down the whole custody battle road between Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). There’s no need to do that again, especially since we’re trying to get Adam on a better path here.

Nick is Christian’s dad now, but that doesn’t mean Adam should be cut out of the boy’s life forever. It doesn’t seem fair for Adam to never have any kind of relationship with Christian. Can’t he at least be “Uncle Adam” and just fill a different role?

Christian has bonded with Nick as his fill-in father, so Y&R should give the kid some stability and leave that father-son relationship intact. However, Adam could enjoy taking Christian and Connor out for ice cream occasionally.

A few trips to the park to kick the soccer ball around wouldn’t hurt. Connor knows Uncle Nick, so why shouldn’t Adam know Christian, too?

After the custody drama died down, The Young and the Restless basically forgot about the Christian issue entirely. Whether Nick likes it or not, Christian is always going to be Adam’s biological son.

One day Christian might grow up to resent Nick for keeping him apart from Adam. It’d be better to rectify that now by letting Adam and Christian connect – if only as an uncle and nephew.

Do you think Adam deserves to be in Christian’s life? Once Adam conquers his inner demons, do you hope Nick will soften and let Adam be part of the picture? As other Y&R news becomes available, we’ll provide updates.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam has a difficult path ahead, so stay tuned. Be sure to drop by CDL regularly for entertaining Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
