The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) slowly seems to be letting go of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and embracing this chance at a future with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Y&R fans know Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) have both been subtly nudging Elena in Nate’s direction.
In the case of Amanda, it’s easy to see why she’d root for Elena and Nate. Whether Amanda wants to admit it or not, she’s obviously falling for Devon. From where Amanda’s standing, she probably thinks this will work out beautifully.
Amanda can have Devon, Elena can have Nate and they can all be happy, right? Wrong! It’s never quite that simple on soaps. Just look at how many times Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has changed her mind about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lately.
It turns out Elena will be the next Y&R character to shift gears when it comes to her love life.
During the week of December 7-11, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will rethink what she wants. She’ll have second thoughts, so it sounds like she’ll change her mind about this Nate romance she’s considering. That lines up with buzz we’ve been hearing about more drama to come for Elena and Devon.
Of course, it also fits with what Y&R viewers just saw for Thanksgiving. Amanda was bonding with Elena like they were besties! The Young and the Restless seems to be setting up a friendship bubble so it can burst in a big way.
There’s a good chance Elena will want Devon back again right about the time Amanda makes her move. This could set up a major rivalry between Elena and Amanda – or rather, sink them back to the rivalry they used to have. There’s no way Amanda and Elena will stay so chummy if Elena resumes her fight to reunite with Devon.
It may be Amanda’s turn to play protector and act like Elena’s just going to hurt Devon once more. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena’s mission to win back Devon could cause all kinds of trouble, so stay tuned.
