The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that an upcoming gala will be a night to remember for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) – and not in a good way! Y&R fans know Elena surrendered to temptation and slept with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at the clinic, which means that secret’s a ticking timebomb.
Elena has definitely been struggling with guilt, so Devon can tell something’s off. However, Elena has been clear about her Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) insecurities – which actually played a huge role in the perfect cheating storm that played out.
Devon doesn’t know about Elena’s betrayal, but he does realize she’s been worried about him developing feelings for Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin. Elena’s also been avoiding Devon as much as possible through long hours at the clinic.
With all that in mind, Devon will decide what Elena really needs is a breather and a chance to be doted on. As luck would have it, Devon is receiving the businessperson of the year award – and that means there’ll be a special gala at The Grand Phoenix in his honor.
Devon will hope to treat Elena to a fun night where they get all dolled up and just relax.
Of course, Elena will be anything but relaxed due to the secret she’s keeping! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena’s guilt will get worse and worse throughout the night.
At some point, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get the ball rolling on the big reveal we’re all waiting for.
Y&R fans knew it’d be important when Nick stopped by the clinic that fateful night. Nick seemed to know exactly what had gone down between Nate and Elena, but maybe he wasn’t as sure as he looked.
Regardless, Nick will mention something that troubles Devon during a conversation at the gala.
Devon will get updates on how Nick saw Elena and Nate at the clinic quite late – right after they treated a young man who overdosed. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will file that information away in the back of his mind.
Once Devon accepts his big award, he’ll be eager to talk to Elena about the patient Nick mentioned. Devon will think perhaps this is what’s been weighing on Elena.
After Elena comes clean about the whole Jared (Michael Maclane) situation, Devon will be more confused than ever. Jared is someone Devon cares about and wants to help, so he won’t get why Elena felt the need to keep secrets.
As Elena becomes increasingly emotional, Devon will keep asking questions. We’ll see Devon do his best to put together what might actually be wrong.
Devon will guess that maybe Jared’s in bad shape – or that Elena made a massive blunder on the job that added to Jared’s issues. Devon will have all sorts of scenarios running through his mind because he’ll be determined to figure this out. He’ll hate seeing Elena in so much pain.
As Devon pushes Elena to just be honest with him, Elena will decide she can’t take any more of this. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will run up to the suite they got ready in earlier. Naturally, Devon will follow and find that Elena’s in a deeply emotional state.
Devon will be stuck on the idea that this involves Jared, so he’ll be trying to comfort Elena and help. Finally, Elena’s emotions will just explode. She’ll start stammering through tears about losing control as Devon slowly starts to catch on.
Elena will ultimately tell Devon she’s so sorry and confess to sleeping with Nate.
