The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) are going to have some major angst to deal with going forward.
As Y&R viewers know, Elena recently had a horrible nightmare concerning Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) relationship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). In the nightmare, Devon and Amanda fell in love and Elena was left out in the cold.
That really unsettled Elena, and to top it all off, she and Nate ended up having a totally stressful night at the New Hope Clinic afterwards that culminated in the two of them kissing.
One thing’s going to lead to another, and in the new Y&R episode airing on Monday, October 5, she and Nate will have a passionate tryst that they immediately regret.
Well, given that Nate and Elena have just made love, there’s definitely the potential for an unintended pregnancy storyline to follow.
And we’d say that since Y&R also made a point to show Devon and Elena making love shortly before Nate and Elena got together, there’s probably a decent chance that we could be looking at a “who’s the father” storyline coming.
According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Nate and Elena will decide to keep their lovemaking session to themselves, at least initially. Elena won’t want to hurt Devon or risk losing the great life that she has with him.
And while Elena and Nate will feel tremendous guilt, they’ll probably hope that they can just sweep what happened under the rug and forget about it. Elena will likely go on with Devon, and Nate will likely continue his relatively new relationship with Amanda.
But we wouldn’t be surprised if Elena starts experiencing some symptoms in the weeks to come. And since both she and Nate are both doctors, it would be a pretty soapy situation if they were the first to know about the pregnancy.
It would make sense for Elena to start having some symptoms on the job and for Nate to notice and put two and two together.
That means that Nate and Elena could end up keeping an explosive and long-term secret, especially if it turns out that Nate is the biological father, but they decide to let Devon assume that he’s the father for the long-term.
Or maybe Nate won’t be willing to stand for that type of situation, and he’ll insist that if he’s the father, he’s going to raise his own child.
At any rate, it looks like Nate and Elena’s momentary lapse in judgment could lead to some major ramifications for them, as well as for Devon and Amanda down the line.
