The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap star has some positive updates for fans. Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) recently opened up about labor being induced as she prepared for the birth of her first child. Due to COVID-19 aka the coronavirus, it brought some extra challenges and concerns
Thankfully, the delivery itself went well. Now Hendrickson has officially started her family with her husband, Rob Meder. On Instagram, Hendrickson showed off some cute pics of her new bundle of joy. The Young and the Restless star also revealed the name of her daughter – and it’s an adorable one!
“We did it ! We are now officially 3! Today we welcomed Josephine James into the world at 9:22am. 6lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long,” Hendrickson said on March 27. “It was the most incredible birth thanks to my amazing midwife Didi and all of the nurses at UCLA Santa Monica. We couldn’t be more thankful for all of their hard work during a time like this.”
As Hendrickson explained in a previous post, her hubby was only allowed to remain by her side during the delivery. Meder had to leave soon after, but he’s using this opportunity to rest up and prepare for Josephine’s homecoming. They’ve got their nursery ready to go, but Meder can get some sleep and enjoy the calm before the inevitable newborn storm!
“Rob is home resting, since he is not allowed to be with me postpartum. Hope you’re getting a good nights sleep babe bc it’s your last for a while,” Hendrickson said in her baby announcement post. “I’m with my sweet girl for 24 hours and I just can’t stop looking at her.”
It’s easy to see why Hendrickson can’t quit gazing at this precious beauty! Josephine is already a sweet, beloved addition. Hendrickson and Meder were clearly thrilled to welcome her to the world. As Hendrickson wrapped up her baby announcement post, she offered gratitude to Y&R fans and anyone else who was supportive during this scary and exciting time.
“Thank you to everyone for your love and support…I couldn’t have gotten through this from all of you who have reached out,” Hendrickson admitted. “I’ve read all of your comments and I feel stronger than ever. Happy birthday JJ!!!” Congrats to Hendrickson and her hubby on their gorgeous daughter!
As for what’s next on Y&R, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe’s pregnancy storyline will continue. Chloe’s expecting a baby boy with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), so that’s another family addition to look forward to.
