The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the CBS soap is back in production and filming is still underway. Y&R’s cast and crew returned to work during the week of July 13-17, so they’re moving right along and banking up some new episodes that’ll air soon. The Young and the Restless hasn’t made an announcement about their official first airdate back, but Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) did offer a fun filming update.
On Twitter, Braeden posted a picture of himself in a face mask, which is required when he’s not on camera. The Y&R star mainly wanted to check in with fans and let everyone know that more episodes are coming. “Hope everyone is doing well!” Braeden said. “New shows are being filmed right now!”
Braeden pointed out that it’s been great to see his fellow castmates along with the crew members. However, there’s been a big change due to all the safety protocols at the studio. The priority is protecting everybody, so gabbing during shooting isn’t really something they do these days.
“Nice to see everyone, although we don’t socialize while filming! Strange!!” Braeden tweeted. Many Young and the Restless viewers have been growing a bit frustrated due to lack of news about the show.
Thankfully, Braeden was willing to send out a message and offer a little light at the end of the tunnel. This has been a lengthy hiatus, but it’ll be over before you know it.
The Bold and the Beautiful is already airing new episodes – and General Hospital will start airing new ones on August 3. Y&R shouldn’t be too far behind, so we’re all looking forward to the show’s return.
It’ll be exciting to see what’s in store for Victor and all your other Genoa City favorites. We’ll deliver updates as other details emerge.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some curveballs are coming, so stay tuned. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be a key player along with his father, so Victor may eventually step up for Adam in his time of crisis.
