The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, March 13 Review - Abby & Chance's Success - Jared's Tragic Loss - Billy & Lily Partners

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Friday, March 13, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), and Jared (Michael Maclane) will arrive at Crimson Lights, and they’ll encounter Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) who were there having coffee. Turns out, Jared’s grandfather passed away, and Amanda will lead him to a table.

Jared will cry and Amanda will get him to calm down a bit by having him tell her about his grandfather. They’ll have an easy rapport, then Nate and Devon will descend on Jared with questions about where he’s going to stay and how he’s going to afford to stay in his grandfather’s apartment. Jared will get distressed and Amanda will haul Nate and Devon off to the patio to tell them to back off.

Through their conversation, Devon will learn that Amanda was also in the foster care system, and he’ll feel bad for coming on too strong with Jared. Elena will soon join them on the patio, and while they’re talking together, Jared will take off.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will bang on Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) hotel room door while Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is there in her Phyllis getup. Abby will hide, and Phyllis will barge in and blast Chance for breaking into her hotel suite. He’ll fire back that she invaded his privacy when she recorded his conversation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

They’ll bicker about whether Phyllis is going to make the recording public, and in the course of their argument, Phyllis will get in some good barbs against Abby, which Abby will overhear from the other room and fume over. Once Phyllis goes, Abby and Chance will head to the bank, where they’ll successfully gain access to Phyllis’ safe deposit box. Thrilled with their mission, they’ll kiss happily.

Next, on the new episode of Y&R on Friday, March 13, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that they’d make a formidable team, and that either they both say yes to her job offer or neither of them gets the job. Jill will leave them to talk, and they’ll go back and forth about their mutual displeasure with the idea of not working independently at Chancellor.

Lily will end up talking with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) over at Society about the opportunity, wondering if she should just say no to the job. She’ll note that she and Billy would probably clash and have very different working styles, and she’ll openly wonder if she should just stay safe. Traci will say that that’s the kind of thinking that stops great ideas, and that it would be good for her to be challenged in a new way.

Meanwhile, Billy will visit Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Jabot, who will note that all Billy really wants is someone to tell him that it’s the wrong move for him. Billy will say that he’s just not sure that the job at Chancellor is the right fit, and Jack will use reverse psychology, telling him that he should turn the job down. Billy will see through this, and Jack will tell to ask himself what he wants.

Later, both Lily and Billy will return to the Chancellor mansion. Lily will say that she has reservations, but that she thinks that she and Billy can make a partnership work. And Billy will say that while he doesn’t like the idea of a partnership, he can think of no better person to be in the trenches with than Lily. Jill will be thrilled.

Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will head to Newman Enterprises, where she’ll talk with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about her concerns with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). She’ll say that she was just with Victoria, and that she’s worried about her mindset – she just seems despondent and emotionally exhausted.

Nikki will think that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) should talk with Victoria, and Victor will immediately balk, saying that’s ridiculous. But Nikki and Nick will think it’s a good idea, so Nikki will head to Sharon’s place, where she’ll find Sharon just getting home from her latest chemo session. Nikki will ask Sharon to work with Victoria, but Sharon will think that she might benefit from someone with more experience.

Ultimately, Nikki will be persuasive, and Sharon will say that she’ll think about it. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will pipe up that it might actually help Sharon take her mind off of her cancer. Later, Sharon will go upstairs to rest, and Rey will take a call from Nick, who will say that a problem came up, but that he doesn’t want to bother Sharon with it. He’ll say it’s about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and that he needs Rey’s help.
