The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, March 6, teases that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will be irked over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) cozying up to each other. They’ll still be trapped at Society along with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), who’ll try to play peacemaker.
Theo will point out that they have to pass the time, but Kyle will refuse to play cards with him. They’ll end up having an arm-wrestling match while Lola gives Summer bartending tips. Summer will talk about wanting to be a bartender at one point because of the movie “Coyote Ugly.” Lola will confess that she loves that film, too.
They’ll share a nice moment as Summer acknowledges that tonight must be hard for Lola. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll be apologetic about getting stuck at the restaurant with Kyle. Summer will assure Lola that she’s rooting for her happiness.
After Kyle and Theo’s bickering gets out of hand, Lola will drag Theo to the kitchen with her. They’ll talk about what their first date might look like. Theo will suggest a horror flick, ramen from a noodle shop and macaroons from a particular bakery.
He’ll think he’d want to walk Lola to her door for a proper first kiss as well. Theo will go ahead and give Lola a smooch, which will leave Lola flustered.
Once Theo and Lola head back into the dining area, they’ll see Kyle and Summer snuggled up asleep on the couch. Lola will ultimately settle in Theo’s arms, but she’ll stare at “Skyle” somberly before she closes her eyes.
At the ranch, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will fail to convince Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to delay their confrontation. Victor will broach the topic of how to trust Adam running Newman Enterprises, but they’ll face an interruption. Chelsea will bring in Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who’ll be upset over the storm and the falling trees.
Once Adam and Victor offer support, Connor will head back to bed. A little later, Chelsea will privately tell Victor that although Adam would never admit it, his father’s approval means the world to him. Victor will confess that’s something he’d like to give Adam.
At the Grand Phoenix, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will pester Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) about his plans for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She’ll find him in Phyllis’ room and insist she wants in on the scheme.
Abby will find the thumb drive while Chance searches for the recordings on Phyllis’ laptop. He’ll struggle to find them, but Abby will just dump water over the computer to fry it.
Of course, Phyllis is smarter than they’re giving her credit for. This won’t be the last we hear about those incriminating recordings, but Abby and Chance will focus on getting steamy for now. Chance will strip out of his wet clothes and join Abby in the shower, so Y&R fans can expect some hot scenes.
Across town, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will once again acknowledge that they’re not starting anything up between them.
Once the conversation shifts to Newman Enterprises, Phyllis will encourage Nick to step up as CEO. She’ll think Nick should stop Adam from taking the throne, but Nick will change the subject again.
After some flirty moments ensue, Nick will draw attention to Phyllis’ single status. She’ll contend that it’s a choice before Nick mentions her kiss and tonight’s visit. Phyllis will argue that Nick would know it if she were seducing him. She’ll add that they’re better as friends, which Nick will agree with.
Phyllis will reflect on Nick being a tool sometimes and making mistakes, but she’ll think it’s incredible how he gets back up again. She’s impressed by how he tries to be a good person.
Nick will admit that Phyllis seduces him without even trying. After Nick moves toward Phyllis, she’ll suggest she doesn’t want to get hurt again. Phyllis will note that she’s a lot more wounded than people would know.
Nick will reiterate that they’re just friends, but he’ll eventually grab Phyllis’ hand. They’ll feel the sizzle, so they’ll undress as they share passionate kisses. The Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates say another great episode’s ahead, so stay tuned.
