The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, November 20, tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a torn heart. Y&R fans know Elena was devastated after Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) dumped her and kicked her out of the penthouse.
Elena hurt Devon deeply through her betrayal with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but she’d love another chance to try again.
Devon isn’t willing to give Elena that chance so far – and things are further complicated by Elena’s feelings for his cousin! Elena finally stopped denying the spark she feels with Nate, but this is just a big mess at this point.
On Friday, Elena will do her best to navigate that mess, but it won’t be easy. Part of Elena will want to keep hope alive for a reunion with Devon, but another part of her will be tempted to move on. Nate would welcome the opportunity for a new romance with Elena, so the ball’s in her court here.
Since Elena will be so conflicted, it’s doubtful she’ll make any huge decisions right now. Elena may have to wrestle with her complex love life for a bit and try to figure out what’s next.
Speaking of complex love lives, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) certainly has one. For most people, getting kidnapped and held hostage by your fiancé would be an automatic deal-breaker – but not Chelsea. She’s actually considering the idea of forgiving Adam and starting over with him.
Of course, that’s not going to work for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who’ll give Chelsea some tough love on Friday. Chloe will launch another Adam-related tirade and practically forbid Chelsea from going back to him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will deliver a stern ultimatum, so she may threaten to cut ties with Chelsea in business or even just in general. Chloe will want Chelsea to see that choosing Adam will cost her big time. Adam only brings pain and destruction as far as Chloe’s concerned.
However, Chloe will probably only manage to infuriate Chelsea all over again. Y&R fans can expect Chelsea to find a reason to stand by her man soon enough. That’s because Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have something huge up their sleeves.
Friday’s episode will bring a harsh dose of reality for Adam. Victor will want Adam to willingly seek help, but it’ll become obvious that’s not going to happen. This is all setting up Adam being committed to Fairview – and Sharon’s signature will be what seals Adam’s fate!
