The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) will keep looking to the future – one that she thinks she can build with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Sadly, this “Phick” road always ends in disaster. Phyllis is destined to get her heart broken whether it’s Nick’s fault or her own.
Nick and Phyllis can never make it work for very long, so Phyllis would be better off looking for love elsewhere. Of course, that doesn’t mean all previous love interests are off limits! There’s actually one former flame who might be Phyllis’ perfect match.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is a great guy who’s always going to care about Phyllis, so it’d be easy to put these two back together. There are plenty of reasons why Phyllis and Jack should reignite their romance.
Now that Michelle Stafford’s settled back in the role of Phyllis, after replacing Gina Tognoni, it’s the ideal time to Y&R to reboot “Phack” and let love bloom at this stage of their lives.
Jack has been single for what feels like forever. Although The Young and the Restless seems to be toying around with a Jack and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) reunion, Phyllis would arguably be a better fit.
Peter Bergman and Michelle Stafford’s onscreen chemistry is fantastic. They have a nice vibe that just works – and it was on full display in their recent bonding scenes.
Jack gave Phyllis his support on her reunion with Nick and suggested she shouldn’t mess it up. That’s who Jack is in a nutshell: a supportive person who does his best to guide Phyllis down the right path.
Since Phyllis is a schemer who’s always going to make mistakes, she needs someone who can accept her flaws and try to put her on a better road at the same time. Jack’s just the man for the job!
