The Young and the Restless Spoilers: John Enos (ex-Bobby Marsino) Shares Melanoma Scare – Urges Fans To Use Sunscreen

The Young and the Restless spoilers has some news to pass on about a former Y&R star. John Enos, who portrayed Bobby Marsino on the CBS soap from 2003-2005, has shared his bout with skin cancer with his fans. John took to Instagram to warn people about the importance of using sunscreen and regular dermatological checkups.

John shared a photo of himself with some major stitches on his face and arm, along with the following message: “Got it all! Wear sunscreen! See a dermatologist once a year…” The good news here is that, despite all the stitches, it seems that the doctors were able to remove all traces of the melanoma.

John’s fans and followers have been steadily responding to his post. One person commented: “God Bless. I am a survivor too. Sunscreen is our new best friend.” Another person said: “Yikes. Great that you were able to get that looked after. Stay healthy.” And someone else commented: “I hope you’re ok now. Thank you for posting.”

John certainly isn’t the first actor who has faced melanoma over the past few years. Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley, DOOL; Shirley Spectra, B&B), Martha Madison (Belle Black, DOOL), Michael Muhney (Adam Newman, Y&R), and Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, DOOL) have had their own bouts with the disease. There are approximately 78,000 new cases of melanoma per year in the US.

If you’ve been watching the throwback episodes of Y&R over the past couple of months, then you might have seen John in his role as Bobby Marsino. He was recently featured in a couple of the encore episodes that Y&R has been showing. Bobby was the owner of a club called Marsino’s, and he eventually died off-screen when he was hit by a car.

John also appeared in multiple roles on Days of Our Lives over the years. He appeared as Elvis Presley in 2017 and as Roger in 2018. John also appeared as Bobby Parezi in Melrose Place from 1995-1996.

We’re glad that John is recovering from his surgery, and we wish him continued good health going forward. Stay tuned to the Young and the Restless and remember to keep CDL at the ready for the latest Y&R spoilers, updates, and news.
