The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) scheme could lead to unexpected consequences. Y&R fans know Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) revealed Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) weakness to Sally.
Theo insisted Summer’s kryptonite was her jealousy when it comes to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so Sally’s got big plans to use that against her.
It’s true that Summer tends to be insecure when it comes to Kyle and other women in his life. Sally seems poised to make major trouble for Summer and distract her in the process. If Sally plays her cards right, she could swoop in and steal Summer’s job once the head of JCV loses focus.
Of course, there’s also a chance Sally will fail miserably! It wouldn’t be the first time Sally’s plans went awry, but Sally could make a mess for Kyle and Summer no matter what.
Whenever Summer feels like things are falling into place in her life, that’s usually a tell-tale sign that things are about to fall apart.
Kyle tends to get fed up with Summer when she can’t trust in their love. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Sally will make Kyle her man – at least not at this point in the story.
If Kyle realizes Sally stirred the pot and led to “Skyle” issues, he may not want much to do with her either.
Kyle could easily blame Summer for not trusting him and blame Sally for bringing Summer’s insecurities to the surface. The only woman Kyle wouldn’t blame is his former flame, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).
So far, Lola is hanging in there despite the news of Theo’s looming exit. Is that because The Young and the Restless has a plan for Lola down the road?
Lola doesn’t serve much purpose these days other than to work some shifts at Society and give a few pep talks. She doesn’t have a story of her own, but that might change eventually.
Could Kyle and Lola’s romance come back around? It’s possible if Sally ruins “Skyle” and Kyle’s bitter with her about it. That would leave Summer and Sally without much of a shot for a while.
Kyle might come to realize he had something he could count on his marriage to Lola. He might long for the days when things were simpler and he just went home to a wife who loved him a night. Kyle’s love for Lola might grow again and leave him longing for a “Kola” reunion.
That would certainly please the Kyle and Lola fans that are holding out hope for a reconnection. Would you like to see Sally’s plan lead Kyle back to Lola? That just might be Summer’s worst nightmare!
