The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) hasn’t been handling things very well lately. As Y&R viewers know, Lola’s had a difficult time in her burgeoning relationship with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Lola and Theo seemed to be on the right track there for a while, with Theo taking Lola to a food truck festival, and then Lola decided that the time was right for them to make love for the first time. Things were going well.
But then Lola learned that Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) were planning to move in together, and all heck broke loose. Suddenly, Lola became a total mess, and it seemed like she was looking for reasons to find trouble in her relationship with Theo.
Ever since then, it doesn’t seem like Theo can do anything right, and mountains are made out of molehills.
Coming up during the week of September 14 on Y&R, Lola and Theo will have another terribly difficult encounter. Lola will still be feeling hurt and angry over a miscommunication she had with Theo over their lunch plans.
Y&R viewers will remember that Theo and Lola made plans for lunch, and Lola made a special meal for Theo, but then he didn’t show up when work interfered.
Well, Theo and Lola will go another round of arguing about that, and in the course of doing so, Lola will insinuate that Theo wants her just because she’s Kyle’s ex.
Theo will momentarily agree with Lola, not really realizing what he’s saying, and that will make Lola blow her top. It will be a pretty bad scene, and it will seem that Lola really got set off due to the news about Kyle and Summer moving in together.
If Lola’s this out of sorts about Kyle and Summer living together, then imagine what’s going to happen once Kyle and Summer get engaged?
According to Young and the Restless spoilers, Summer and Kyle will kick off the week of September 14 by declaring themselves to be engaged, and although they’ll keep their engagement just between them for the time being, something tells us that the news will eventually hit the Genoa City streets, and imagine what that’s going to do to Lola!
We expect that Lola will be hit pretty hard by the news of Summer and Kyle’s engagement whenever it comes, but that it will be especially difficult if she hears about it before her divorce with Kyle is finalized.
Knowing Summer and Kyle, they’ll probably sit in Society and openly talk about their secret engagement, so it probably won’t be long before Lola hears about it.
And given how Lola has been behaving lately and how she and Theo haven’t been getting along, the news about Summer and Kyle’s engagement could be the final nail in Lola’s relationship with Theo.
Lola will become even more agitated than she has been lately, and since Lola acts out and causes conflict when she’s upset, that probably means more Lola/Theo drama down the line.
And who knows – Theo could get put off by Lola’s over-the-top reaction to Summer and Kyle’s engagement, and with both Lola and Theo upset, it could really spell trouble for them. Theo and Lola could be over virtually before they really get started!
We’ll see what happens here, but we expect that it is likely that Lola will get wind of Kyle and Summer’s secret engagement – and then Theo had better watch out!
