The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) hasn’t allowed the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic to change her outlook on life. She and her husband, Justin Gaston (formerly Ben Davis on Days of our Lives), continue to raise their daughters, Olivia and Sophie, in a warm family environment.
Ordway posted a delightful photo of her backyard on Instagram. In it Olivia, who was born in 2016, and her sister, Sophie, who was born in 2017, are with their dog.
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, as the old saying goes. At other times two capture the moment perfectly, as when Ordway posted the following comment aside of her photo, “Three musketeers.” Ordway followed up with a great family beach photo – assuring fans that everyone was wearing PPE except during photo-time.

Ordway has known Gaston, who is an actor and a singer-song writer, for many years. They’ve been married since 2012. The additions of their daughters expanded their family to four, along with various pets, including the dog that is seen in the photo below.
As has proven true for actors, like Ordway, her Y&R colleagues, and fans of this enduring daytime soap opera, family time has increased dramatically as a result of the shutdowns that have resulted across the globe due to the virus.

A voice-over gig proved to be Ordway’s entrance into the entertainment world. She was an uncredited radio station caller in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Her first on-screen work came in Sean Lennon’s film, Friendly Fire. Lennon, who is the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, also produced an album of the same name.
Ordway’s first regular television series role came when she played Jordana in Privileged. She earned roles in a number of movies and other TV shows, including Hollywood Heights, and reboots of Melrose Place and 90210. The actor became the latest Y&R recast of in 2013.

Abby has had many stops and starts through the years when it comes to romance. But all has been going well with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) so far.
Hopefully, when new episodes are seen in the future, Abby’s personal life will be developed towards Ordway’s success. It would be great to see Abby marry Chance and for them to have children. They could add a cute dog to the mix as well.
