The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 13, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will expose Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) plot to Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). After bringing up all Adam’s false promises and lies, Victoria will explain that Adam has no intention of getting the story published. This was all about blackmailing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Alyssa will feel like a sucker for falling for Adam’s scheme, which she’ll realize Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was in on. Victoria will push Alyssa to keep things quiet until she can make her next move. Meanwhile, Victor will pay Adam a visit at Newman Enterprises. After Victor rejects Adam’s idea of celebrating with a toast, he’ll want Adam to focus on an important business deal.

Adam will make it clear that he can handle the CEO position and knows what he’s doing. Victor will bicker with Adam about building this company from the ground up. He’ll feel like Adam only causes destruction.

After Adam mentions the contract he had drawn up, he’ll inquire about Victor’s CEO announcement plans. Victor will suggest he’ll tell the press it’s a decision the family made. Once Adam learns Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t heard the news yet, he’ll keep pushing Victor’s buttons.

Victor will warn that Adam hasn’t thought this through. He’ll ask what Adam’s mother would think about his actions, but Adam will insist he’s hold Victor accountable for his own. Adam will feel like they’re the same deep down; it’s all about getting what they want. Once Victor notes that Adam should enjoy his time on the throne, he’ll add that Adam doesn’t know him at all.

In a Grand Phoenix suite, Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will once again talk about defining their relationship. Nick won’t get why Phyllis is trying to backtrack, but she’ll open up about not wanting to get hurt again. Although they’re both invested in making this work, Phyllis will admit it’s “big and scary.”

After Nick reassures Phyllis about being in it for the long haul, she’ll suggest they should lock themselves in for the night and just talk. However, Phyllis and Nick will share some sudsy and steamy moments in the shower soon after. As texts from Victor come in on Nick’s phone, Nick won’t pay attention to them.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will listen as Nick describes how much he wants this. Nick will gush about how much better his life is with Phyllis in it and will promise he’s all in on their future. They’ll share a kiss to seal the deal.

At Society, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be on her first date with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) appears. After Billy sees the new lovebirds, he’ll decide to leave. As for Nate and Amanda, they’ll reflect on how they were given a push into this date – Phyllis helped Amanda and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) nudged Nate.

Nate will like the fact that this feels new and different. Although Amanda had her guard up when she came to Genoa City, she’ll be an open book to Nate now. Nate will ask about Amanda’s history, so she’ll talk about being given up for adoption as an infant and the ambition that sparked in her.

Nate will mention his father’s death as well as his mother’s work at Doctors Without Borders. The conversation will be lighthearted as they discuss some of their favorite things. Amanda will eventually talk about Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) and how she’s grateful that Nate’s willing to move slowly. Before their night wraps up, Y&R spoilers say Nate and Amanda will lock lips.

At Chancellor Media, Billy will bug Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in her office. As Billy offers complaints and putts golf balls, Lily will feel like he’s only there because he has nothing better to do and nobody’s waiting at home. Billy will keep talking about his vision for Chancellor Media, but Lily will try to make him see things her way.

Billy and Lily will find common ground as they discuss making the most of their strengths. After Billy notes that he likes where this is going, Lily will take his putter away and suggest she feels the same.
