The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 24, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will wind up in the danger zone! He’ll head into risky territory with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), so this undoubtedly involves another session – and another deep dive into Adam’s childhood.
Sharon’s first session with Adam was all about remembering his old routine. Adam reflected on what the average day was like on the farm, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary after he killed AJ Montalvo. It’s been hard for Adam to not remember a thing and feel so disconnected from this part of his past.
However, it looks like Adam will awaken on the sofa following a nightmare – one featuring a glimpse of the incident he’s trying to pull back up. In a new Y&R preview video for next week, August 24-28, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) asks if Adam had a bad dream. “It was a memory! It was voices! It’s happening, Chelsea. It’s coming back to me,” Adam insists.
This could lead Adam back to Sharon for another session – or it could be the result of one they’ve already had. Either way, Adam will grow hopeful about remembering this trauma he’s blocked out. Although Adam knows it’ll be painful to recall killing AJ, he feels like he has to remember for himself and know the whole story.
Unfortunately, Adam won’t get the full breakthrough he needs just yet. That’s why Adam will wind up heading back to Kansas to further jog his memory, but he won’t tell Chelsea where he’s heading. Chelsea will grow worried when Adam goes MIA soon enough, so that’ll bring a search and some consequences later in the week.
In the meantime, let’s talk about a family crisis. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) will suffer an allergic reaction, so that’ll leave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) freaking out.
Billy already lost a daughter and certainly won’t want to lose another one. Billy will make sure Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) checks Katie out and treats her as soon as possible.
While Billy waits for news on Katie’s condition, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will see how fearful her ex is. Victoria will have sympathy due to the devastating loss Billy endured when Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) died. This whole experience with Katie will thaw Victoria’s icy heart and leave her ready to befriend Billy again.
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will question Nate about his new romance. Nate will get grilled about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), but does Devon have any budding feelings of his own?
Devon enjoyed some moments of connection with Amanda recently – and she does have the same face as his dead wife, Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
As a result, things have to be complicated for Devon and will only get more complicated as time goes on. For now, Devon will put Nate through an interrogation and perhaps suggest that Amanda’s a special person.
Devon may hope Nate and Amanda’s love blooms, but we’ll see if Devon’s feelings present a roadblock sooner or later.
