The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 6 – Amanda Shares Ripley Turner Abuse with Billy – Sharon’s Big Decision

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 6, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will finally open up to someone about her difficult history. Y&R fans know Amanda’s been pretty cagey since she arrived in town. She’s a no-nonsense kind of gal and she doesn’t like to let anyone get too close.

However, that’s starting to change thanks to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Amanda can tell that they’re kindred spirits, so she’s slowly forming a strong bond and building some trust. She feels like there are no strings attached when it comes to Billy.

They can both come together for a bit and lean on each other, so it looks like that’s what they’ll keep doing on Monday.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will talk about her ex-fiancé. She’ll explain the horrible abuse she endured at this man’s hands and add that she had to file a restraining order against him. That’s why Amanda’s got so many trust issues and keeps her guard up around pretty much everyone except Billy.

It seems significant that Billy’s the first person Amanda’s divulged this secret to in Genoa City. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has become a friend to Amanda, but things just aren’t the same with him. Amanda may feel she’d be judged on some level or that the situation’s too complicated because of Nate’s ties to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Speaking of Devon, we know he found about Amanda’s ex-fiancé, Ripley Turner. Devon learned that Ripley filed a restraining order against Amanda as well, so that’s left him confused about what actually went down. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon could eventually stir up more problems for Amanda – and Billy as a result!

Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll deliver a stern warning in Monday’s episode. Nikki’s awfully protective of her kids, so this will likely involve one of them. She might warn Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to stay on top of her concerns about Billy – or perhaps tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to let this be the last time she hurts Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Then again, Nikki’s warning might be for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and whatever he’s got cooking up next. Regardless, Nikki will do her best to get through to another Genoa City resident on Monday.

Across town, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have a major decision to make. She’ll come to a conclusion – perhaps one that relates to the lump she discovered on her breast.

Sharon calls to make a doctor’s appointment about this lump in Friday’s episode, so Monday may involve waiting to tell her family until after the biopsy results come back. She might think there’s no need for them to fret if it’s nothing at all.

Sadly, this is probably cancer, which means a tough battle should be brewing for Sharon soon. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some hot drama’s ahead, so don’t miss all the action.
