The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 16, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be caught off guard. Since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believes Billy might’ve been the mystery shooter, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will decide to rattle Billy’s cage a bit.
At Society, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will spot Billy and march right over to confront him. Billy will be taken aback when Chelsea demands to know if he shot Adam. The accusation alone will leave Billy in disbelief. Billy certainly won’t deny his Adam vendetta, but he’ll assure Chelsea that he’d never go that far.
Basically, Billy will act offended that anyone could possibly think he’d try to kill Adam. Never mind that Billy tried to run over Adam last year! However, Billy’s gun-chewing alternate personality hasn’t been seen in quite some time. Since Billy probably wouldn’t have fired that shot on a normal day, we’d say the shooter is someone else.
Of course, that won’t stop Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) from thinking the same thing as Chelsea. He’ll wonder if Billy might’ve pumped the bullet that wound up in Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) by mistake. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will push Billy’s buttons and try to figure out if he’s telling the truth.
Meanwhile, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will want the scoop from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Lily and Billy haven’t been successful in hiding their flying sparks from Amanda, so she’ll want details from Lily. It looks like Lily and Amanda will enjoy a little girl talk about Billy’s best and worst qualities.
Amanda may also talk about the loss of Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and how that’s at the core of Billy’s Adam hate. Lily knows how deeply that loss affected Billy, so Amanda and Lily may at least consider the possibility that Billy pulled the trigger. Naturally, they may not tell Billy about their fears!
Once Billy faces Chelsea and Rey’s shooter suspicions, he’ll feel like he needs to hire an attorney before things get ugly. At the hospital, Chance will welcome Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) into his room and bring up his engagement to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Chance will confess this discussion is more about seeking Victor’s support rather than his permission.
Victor should respect Chance for being a man who puts Abby’s wants and needs above her father’s. Nevertheless, Victor should be pretty pleased with Abby’s groom selection.
Chance is a dependable guy who stepped in front of a speeding bullet to make sure Adam survived. That’ll mean something to Victor, who’ll offer both his gratitude and his blessing.
