The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 2, tease that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will have an important question to ask Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Chance will track Ashley down so he can seek her blessing.
Now that Chance and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are planning on having a family together, Chance will feel like he needs Ashley’s approval on something.
It seems likely that Chance has a surprise proposal in mind. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that an engagement is coming up soon for Chance and Abby. It makes sense that Chance would ask Ashley for Abby’s hand in marriage.
Chance may acknowledge that it’s a bit old-fashioned, but it feels like a move that’s in line with his personality.
Plus, Chance hasn’t really spent any time with Ashley since he’s been with Abby. Since Abby has a solid bond with her mom, Chance needs to make a good impression here. Ashley might insist Chance doesn’t need her permission to ask Abby to marry him, but she might think it’s sweet of him to seek it anyway.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) memorial service will bring some drama. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) pointed out that Dina made her wishes clear.
Dina didn’t want some stuffy funeral where everyone’s all somber. She wanted a party rather than a formal memorial, so Jack will try to honor that request.
However, Jack will find it difficult to celebrate Dina’s life when he already misses her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will have a hard time letting go.
He’ll know this is like a final farewell in a way, so Jack will do his best to find a forward while he’s still dealing with grief.
Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is set to cater this event – and Summer Newman (Hunter King) should be there to remember Dina. That’ll put Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) exes in each other’s path for a showdown! Y&R fans can expect Summer to rile Lola up somehow, so Lola will deliver a harsh warning.
Lola can be awfully protective of Kyle, even though they’re not married anymore. We may see that protective side on full display, but Lola might try to protect Summer from additional pain, too.
Perhaps Lola will warn Summer that it’s not much fun to get over Kyle. She may think Summer either needs to fight for love or prepare for the agony of moving on.
