The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 9, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will worry about his future. Y&R fans know Nate faced some nerve damage in his hand – and he’s more concerned about it than he’d like to admit.
Nate’s got a lot riding on his follow-up appointment, which should let him know whether he can continue his career as a surgeon.
It looks like Nate will learn his fate from a specialist on Monday, but it may not be what he wants to hear. It’s tough to believe Nate will receive good news since this story is still about making Nate suffer.
Nate cheated with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), so the writing team surely wants to make him face a little more karma.
It seems likely Nate will learn that his surgical career is over for the time being. Of course, Nate might be given some vague form of hope to go with this crushing blow. He could be encouraged to do some physical therapy work and give his hand more time to heal.
However, Nate’s doctor probably won’t sugarcoat things too much. In other words, Nate may be given enough hope that he can get a miracle down the road – but not so much that he’s confident now. Y&R spoilers hint that Nate will have to figure out what his new chapter looks like.
In the meantime, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will plan a lovely marriage proposal for the woman he loves. It looks like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will gladly accept Chance’s engagement ring, so these two will be on cloud nine.
At the Newman Tower, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will plant himself firmly on Victoria Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) side.
On Friday, Victoria forms a plan to call Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) bluff. She hopes to expose Adam’s games by pushing him to sign away his inheritance and all claims to Newman Enterprises.
Victor may decide he’d like to see what Adam will choose on Monday, so that could be why he’ll be on Victoria and Nick’s team for once. Adam has a nefarious scheme that’s far bigger than money or the family business, so he might surprise Victor by going along with Victoria’s wishes.
Whatever the case, Adam will land in grave danger soon. On Monday’s episode, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Chance’s loyalties will result in sudden peril.
Y&R released a promo for the week ahead, which shows Adam facing a mystery shooter. Chance will come to Adam’s rescue eventually, so he’ll take the hit in the coming episodes.
