The Young and the Restless Spoilers: NEW Episodes Week of August 10 - Sharon’s Surgery - Shocking Breakup - Adam Crisis

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Y&R will be back on Monday, August 10 with all-new episodes, and we’ve got the scoop about what you can expect to see when the show comes back.

During the week of August 10-14, there will be plenty of action that picks right up on Monday, as Genoa City residents gather for the anniversary of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) dedication of Chancellor Park.

According to Y&R spoilers, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will interview various Genoa City residents as they attend the anniversary of the dedication. It looks like we might see characters stroll through the park and say a few words to Billy and Lily, who will no doubt be working in their capacity at Chancellor Media.

As Billy and Lily talk with everyone, it looks like that will spur some conversations, and it will be a great way for viewers to get quickly up to speed on what’s been going on in the recent past. Look for some rapid-fire updates about the movement on key storyline fronts.

Then, on Tuesday, August 11, on an episode that was filmed before the shutdown, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will deal with the aftermath of her surgery. As Y&R viewers will remember, Sharon was set to have surgery to remove her breast tumor, but exactly how invasive that surgery was going to be was up in the air for viewers.

Then, Billy and Lily will disagree about a potential hire for Chancellor Communications. Could it be Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) who’s vying for a position at the company?

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will pick right up on their ongoing feud. Y&R viewers will remember that Abby handed over ownership of The Grand Phoenix to Phyllis, then embarked on building a new hotel across the street.

It appears that from Wednesday, August 12 on, Y&R will show episodes that have been recently filmed – since filming picked up after the shutdown.

The action will get going when Victor and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) make a pact to put their differences aside to help Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who will likely be in crisis as a result of learning that he killed a man when he was young.

Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have some things to say about her parents’ reunion, as she voices her strong opinions to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis.

And in a stunning turn of events, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will suddenly bring her romance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to a screeching halt. Could her feelings about Billy be resurfacing? Or might this have something to do with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)?

Starting on Thursday, August 13, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) nerves when he opines about Victor’s parenting of his kids, while Adam goes on a mission to prove that he didn’t really kill AJ Montalvo all those years ago.

It looks like Adam isn’t going to buy Victor’s claim that he killed AJ, and he’ll want to show that it was someone else – Victor – who did the deed.

Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will be in the mix as well, as he prepares to be a father again.

As Y&R viewers will remember, he and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are having a little boy, and when the action last left off, Kevin was concerned about his ability to parent a boy, given his history with his own father. It looks like Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will step in to help Kevin see that he can do this.

Finally, on Friday, August 14, it seems that Devon and Amanda will do some bonding, which should be interesting given that Devon and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) relationship is going strong.

Jack and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get a reminder of the Abbott family’s checkered past, while Nikki tries unsuccessfully to keep the peace in the Newman family.

It looks like we’re in for some exciting scenes when the Y&R action returns during the week of August 10-14, so be sure to tune in!
