The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for next two weeks tease that some serious conflict is brewing on the CBS soap. During the week of August 31-September 4, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will try to find some common ground with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Unfortunately, Victoria won’t think that’s possible as long as Victor keeps playing favorites. As fa as Victoria’s concerned, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will always come first.
Over with Adam, he’ll deal with memories of the cover-up in Kansas. Adam will feel like his parents knew he was a killer back then, but Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) won’t want Adam to see himself as a villain.
Meanwhile, Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) cop mentality will bother Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Sharon will want Rey to back off, but he won’t see why she has to be the one to save Adam.
Next, Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) independent streak could cause issues for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). He may feel like Lola’s putting up walls again – and that’s certainly what she seems to be doing.
At the clinic, Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) blood donation plans will lead to suspicions. Once Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will discuss that Amanda has the same blood type as Amanda, he’ll think she needs to get a DNA sample from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – at least if she wants firm answers.
Amanda doesn’t know her exact birthday since she was abandoned as a baby, but Hilary’s will be close enough that it brings more suspicions. In the end, Amanda will decide to give Devon a choice.
Either Devon can hand over something of Hilary’s for a DNA test or they can just drop this. Amanda will understand if Devon would prefer to do the latter.
Amanda will just want to be sensitive to Devon’s feelings since Hilary’s dead, so he should appreciate that. Later, Devon will open up to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) about how he feels about all this. Devon’s head should be spinning at the thought of Amanda actually being Hilary’s twin sister.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will have an angry meltdown, so the stress of Adam’s situation will clearly be getting to her. Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will also get an unexpected visitor, so maybe Adam will reach out and want to relive the horrors of what went down in Vegas.
Chance will land in a tight spot later as he crafts a cover story for Adam. It sounds like things will start to get messy, so Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) isn’t going to like this. At The Grand Phoenix, it’ll be time for a big announcement.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will have something important to tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis will fret over a potential “Skyle” engagement while Nick worries Summer might be pregnant. Once Nick brings up that suggestion, Phyllis will suddenly fear it’s both! However, it should be a false alarm on both counts. This is surely about Summer and Kyle deciding to get a place together.
Nick might bring up the time he was going to build a house for the newlyweds as a wedding present. That obviously didn’t pan out since Kyle and Summer got divorced!
There should be some tension that results from Summer and Kyle’s updates, so that may be why Nick defends his romance in the week ahead. Summer may feel like the pot’s calling the kettle black.
There’s a risk with any reunion on Y&R since history could easily repeat itself. Nevertheless, Summer and Kyle feel confident they’re going to get it right this time. Phyllis and Nick feel the same way about their own relationship, but we’ll see how long these couples actually last.
Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) will also pass through Genoa City on his way to an art exhibition in San Francisco. Although Noah will be happily reunited with Sharon and some other family members, he won’t enjoy reconnecting with Adam.
Noah will feel like Adam’s dumping his problems on Sharon when she should be focused on her breast cancer battle.
During the week of September 7-11, Adam will make a bold decision. It’ll lead Adam to announce something major, so that can’t be good news! Will Adam publicly address what happened in Kansas or even Vegas? Could Adam plan to turn himself in for the Sin City incident?
Time will tell, but Victor will definitely scramble to save Adam from himself. Sadly, Victor’s attempts to help are only going to make things worse. Over with Lola again, she’ll make more trouble for herself by playing hard to get.
It could lead to confusion, which is a huge relationship hurdle on soaps. Lola needs to be straight with Theo before this turns into a total disaster!
Finally, Devon will come to grips with the past. It sounds like Devon will make peace with the idea that Amanda is most likely Hilary’s twin. At some point, Devon may embrace the idea of having a surviving link to Hilary.
Of course, they need DNA confirmation first, so Devon may hand over a personal item of Hilary’s and let Amanda take the next step.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be plenty of great drama over the next two weeks, so stay tuned to Y&R. CDL will have all the Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your hotspot.
