The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that there’ll be plenty of danger and drama in Genoa City. During the week of November 9-13, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will pop the question to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). After this couple happily gets engaged, disaster will strike.
Chance will end up stepping in front of a mystery shooter’s bullet – one meant for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll be a paranoid mess following her escape from captivity.
Chelsea will hide out for a while, but she should get support from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickon) sooner or later.
As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Y&R spoilers say he’ll have a new lead to follow. Rey will do some investigating, so his search for Chelsea may spark more questions. Will Chelsea be accused of pulling the trigger on Adam and hitting Chance by mistake?
Of course, there are plenty of other people who’d want Adam dead in Genoa City. Rey will work on this case along with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), who’ll discover a startling plan for vengeance.
It looks like Adam’s plot for the Newman Tower will be exposed, though Paul probably won’t be able to directly connect Adam to it.
Even so, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get updates and surely know exactly who was behind the sabotage. It may cause Victor to wonder if Adam truly is a lost cause.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll be all over this Adam stuff for Chance Comm. Billy always likes a hot Adam-related scoop, even if he has to get down in the mud and fight for it.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get bad news about his hand and surgical career. Nate won’t have much hope for the future, especially since Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) hasn’t been willing to embrace their spark.
Although Nate will plan to leave town, it looks like Elena’s admission will stop him. Elena will come clean about being torn between her feelings for Nate and her feelings for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
That should give Nate a motive to stick around and try to win Elena over, particularly since Devon wants nothing to do with Elena now.
Look for Devon to be a source of comfort for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) in the week ahead. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also find out a secret, which likely connects to Faith Newman’s (Alyva Alyn Lind) story.
Maybe Phyllis will catch Faith drinking with Jordan (Madison Thompson) or something along those lines.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll disappoint someone with a broken promise. It’ll probably be Rey who’s miffed about Sharon sneaking off to see Adam.
Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will refuse to team up with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) by monitoring things for him at Jabot.
Unfortunately, Summer Newman (Hunter King) may do a little spying of her own and make some wrong assumptions. It may appear that Sally and Theo are plotting, so Summer will be suspicious of the new redhead in town.
Theo will ultimately hire Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) to be his lawyer and help contest Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will. It looks like Brittany might end up helping Lauren as well though.
Y&R fans can expect Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to face some turned tables – followed by Lauren’s power play during the week of November 16-20.
Perhaps Sally will encourage Lauren to fight for Jabot’s shares of Fenmore’s and regain total control of the company. That sounds like a move Sally would make, so we’ll see how it goes.
In the meantime, Abby will receive some shocking updates on Chance. Either it’ll take that long for the shooting news to reach Abby or else Chance’s doctors may have something to report.
Paul will have a top suspect in that shooting soon after, but he may get it wrong since it’s so early in the story. Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll really feel the heat with Billy.
