The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Friday, November 13, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will rant at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at the Chancellor mansion, threatening him with a candleholder. Chelsea will lash out at Adam about her kidnapping, and Adam will apologize for what he did.
Despite being upset, Chelsea will get rid of the officer who comes to take her into protective custody, and she and Adam will continue talking. Chelsea will really let Adam have it, and amazingly Adam will ask if they can find their way back from this.
Chelsea will complain about Adam actually believing that this is fixable, but Adam will ask for one more chance.
Chelsea will soften a bit as she and Adam talk about the fact that someone out there tried to kill him. Adam will say he thinks he knows who it is – Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Meanwhile, over at the hospital, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will learn from Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) has a secondary staph infection and needs to be isolated.
Abby will leave, and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will walk up and ask Elena about Chance before talk turns to Nate leaving Genoa City. Elena will take Nate to her apartment, where she’ll finally admit that she has feelings for him and that she doesn’t want to lose him.
Elena will say that she doesn’t know what this means, and that she hasn’t given up on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Nate will make Elena a deal – he’ll stick around Genoa City if she comes back to work at the New Hope clinic. Elena will agree, then she’ll get a text and have to get back to the hospital.
Over at the Grand Phoenix, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will tell Devon about her trip to Evanston, and about how she no longer believes that Rose Turner was her biological mother.
Amanda will admit to being scared of what she might find, but she’ll say that she’s going to follow the evince wherever it leads. Before Devon goes, he and Amanda will agree to have dinner the next evening.
Over at Crimson Lights, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will pounce on Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), asking what he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are up to.
Theo will simply say that Sally is in Genoa City for redemption, and he’ll needle Summer about Sally possibly catching Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) eye.
Elsewhere in the coffeehouse, Abby will talk with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) about Chance’s condition, and then Mariah will distract Abby with talk of wedding plans.
Abby will ask Mariah to be her maid of honor, which Mariah will happily accept. Devon will enter and get updates on Chance, then he’ll hear about Abby and Chance’s engagement.
Mariah will suggest that Devon get ordained so he can perform the ceremony, and Abby will love the idea. Abby will then get a call from the hospital and she’ll rush out.
At Society, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will talk business with Sally, who will mention Jabot Collective (JCV) in conversation. Sally will blurt out that she’s the perfect person to run JCV once Fenmore’s acquires it.
Lauren will say that she’s got someone else in mind for the position, but Lauren want to keep the person’s identity under wraps until the deal is done.
Over at Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle will be working on the JCV deal, but Kyle will be distracted thinking about his situation with Summer. Jack will encourage Kyle to fight for the relationship.
Summer will arrive and Jack will leave, and Kyle will take the bull by the horns, asking Summer if she still loves him. Kyle will make a big speech about working things out, and Summer will say that she still loves Kyle.
However, Summer will ask for some more time to be sure that this is what she wants. Kyle will tell Summer to take the time she needs, and that he’ll be here for her. As Kyle walks into the hallway, Sally will walk up saying that she’s been looking for him.
Back at Society, Jack will run into Lauren, who will have something to run by him about JCV. Lauren will say that she wants someone from Jabot to run JCV once Fenmore’s acquires it.
Jack will ask who it is, but viewers won’t hear the answer. A bit later, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) will meet with Theo, who will ask her what his options are for formally contesting Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) will.
Finally, back at the hospital, Abby will arrive to learn from Elena that Chance’s fever broke and that he’s responding well to treatment. Elena will say that Chance can’t have visitors yet, but Abby will sneak in and talk to an unconscious Chance about planning their wedding.
Chance will wake up, saying that the sooner he’s married to Abby, the better.
